Online booking of the overnight stay only works for the following day. If you come at short notice, the online places are full and you stand somewhere else, you will get a hefty fine

Fine for the night. There are 6 places for overnight stay. You have to book them online via the qr code at the place itself. buy a ticket from the machine outside for the daytime. Garbage can available. Beautiful castle.. very nice beach.. nice little village and a nice church with crypt of st.Aidan. All in all really worth it.

Spaces are narrow and the parking was full by sunset. Payment made via QR code and is only valid until 8.00am at which point a further ticket must be purchased. Total cost £20 for 24hrs. Bamburgh Castle well worth the admission costs. I almost didn’t pay but so glad that I did. Recommended
