History Roozeboom Campers
Paul Roozeboom started in 1979 with caravan and camper storage. When a number of customers came with the request to sell their caravan or camper, it was placed in his garden on the busy road N377 in the center of Balkbrug. After having sold a number of caravans on commission, the idea came up to buy and sell caravans yourself. This led to the demand for maintenance of the caravans sold. This was the start of Roozeboom Caravans.
In time, a vof was established between the current owner John Roozeboom and his father Paul Roozeboom. Paul deals with the purchase and sale of touring caravans and John with the purchase and sale of the mobile homes. In 1990, the Home-Star dealership was acquired (then Home car) and successfully. Roozeboom caravans grew into a company with 8 employees and a turnover of almost 400 caravans on an annual basis.
In 2000, due to other busy activities of John Roozeboom, it was decided to rent the company to the then seller Stan Klepke. The Klepke family acted under the name Caravancentrum Balkbrug and has since ceased its activities. As a result, the building at Coevorderweg 20 in Balkbrug was returned to John Roozeboom.
Another great opportunity to restart the company, Roozeboom Campers & Caravans. At first mainly caravans, but the campers also became increasingly popular. Due to the fast-recovering market, John has chosen to continue with motorhomes only. At the end of 2014, the new house style also went into effect and the company is now called Roozeboom Campers.
John Roozeboom (purchasing and sales) now runs the company together with another 4 employees, Roderik Roozeboom (purchasing and sales), Karin Nijhuis (planning and administration) Coen van der Stroom (mechanic workshop) and Cor Hoorn (mechanic workshop)

lees meerBought a camper at Roozeboom this summer and very happy with it. After 2 weeks of standing still, the starter battery turned out not to be good, so quickly replaced by Roozeboom. We wanted to leave with the camper during the autumn holiday and he did not want to start again. After an inspection by Roozeboom, the EBL turned out not to work, replaced it and got a new battery to be sure. Thank you guys very well.
