What a cozy place. many guests in tents who arrive by boat and continue the next day. that gives a cozy relaxed atmosphere. but you have to like a bit of excitement. we were allowed to find a nice spot for our 7m long trailer of 5000kg. the driveway past the hotel was fine for our large combination. friendly welcome, you can rent kayaks and the kids play in the river.
lees meerthe alternative route leads to a rickety and narrow Bailey Bridge and is also permanently closed. so we looked for another campsite with our large camper and 3.20 m high
Arrival a bit messy. Grass and paths, however, neat. Friendly German-speaking reception. Sanitary dated with open shower. During our stay quite clean. If there are no families on the river, a wonderfully quiet campsite. Good "corny" restaurant. NOTE: navi sends to wooden bridge 3.20 m. high. Better keep to the right at the camping sign (less road) and follow navi.
