Camping de la Ferme - Aire du Champ Miguet

We drove by this place today. We immediately turned around. It looked shabby and neglected. See the photos.

This campsite is closed on October 1st, it says on the gate. We arrived on October 12th and everything was closed, unlike December 1st, which the app says. It's a real bummer; due to bad luck, we're dependent on electricity. We'd search for "campsite open and electricity," and it was closed.

Wonderful campsite. Spacious, green, and peaceful. At night, it's truly pitch-black and quiet. A perfect base for cycling and lovely walks around the lake. For me, this is camping in France, the charming imperfection of a farm campsite, lovingly furnished and spotlessly clean. And wonderfully hot showers.
