Campingplatz Am Ahrtor

It remains a beautiful spot on the Ahr River, which caused so much misery in this town in 2021. We have a soft spot for the entrepreneurs and residents, and that's why we enjoy coming to this (temporary) camper site and shopping in the beautiful, charming town with its many restaurants, bakery, butcher, and supermarket. We paid €15 including electricity (€10 excluding). Electricity is available at the front, and water and drainage are free.

The campsite is located along the Ahr River and is still partially under construction. The back pitches don't yet have electricity. Payment and registration are via a form and envelope in the mailbox. €10 per night, excluding electricity. The location is excellent, right next to the Altstadt (Old Town). The pitch was already full by 4:00 PM on Friday afternoon. We enjoyed a pleasant glass of wine in the walled city.

Beautiful location, close to the city gates and the old historic part. Still under construction after the disaster, but now only a camper site with electricity is available, which is fine for us. The current price is 15 euros.
