Roundstone is a nice town (atmosphere, harbor) with a good restaurant O'Dows. there are not many campsites in this area, and as mentioned, this village is nice and you can explore Connemara from here .. you cannot reserve this campsite in advance.
lees meeryesterday we arrived at this campsite. it was quite a strenuous ride to Roundstone. the information on the site said: open we reported at the entrance where a man answered that they were not open yet. No apologies for the wrong information. No understanding for our distress. This man is a disgrace.
Beautiful location by two stunning beach’s very warm welcome, and space to accommodate 4 adults, one campervan, one car and a very friendly dog. €74 for one night. Have to pay £5 deposit for key for bathroom, but it will be returned when key is . there is parking down by the beach for the day but strictly no overnight parking. Campsite is just next door
