Beautiful spot. I was just standing on the road at the end of September because the boathouse was closed. Beautiful view.

Great place, spoke to friendly "Local" absolutely not enforced, his advice was to stand there, there are so many... the view is fantastic

a great place to stay overnight for at least six campers. officially forbidden but tolerated. the Garda made a round and left us alone. there were five campers. grass at the beach turned out to be a dog walking area. we saw a lot of them!

pleasant, quiet parking next to the rescue station - there is a sign 'No overnight parking' - but we were told that this is only enforced if the number of campers on the parking lot becomes too high.
