About 10 minutes from the historic city center lies the official campsite of the Echternach tourist office. Nestled in a green landscape, between the river Sûre and the rocky landscape of the Mullerthal-Luxembourgish Little Switzerland region, you can hike the Mullerthal Trail, explore the rocky gorges or paddle on the Sûre.
The entire complex is spread over about 10 terraces. It is located on the edge of the forest and is lovingly planted with hedges, shrubs and flowers, so that it blends seamlessly into the natural landscape.

Boring, dark, small pitch at the top of the campsite, no view, lots of climbing. Didn't use any of the facilities.

Great campsite. We arrived while reception was already closed. There was a map on the door showing the "available" pitches. We had booked through CC, so in theory, that shouldn't have been an available pitch. All in all, it was very unclear where we were supposed to be. So we chose a "available" pitch. Plug it in and you're done. Great spot and a peaceful overnight stay. The bathroom facilities are okay, but it's a single unit, so nothing special.
