Au Vieux Ksar - Chez Zaid & Zineb

Here stood on April 16 and 17, 2019. Excellent and safe place. A nice opportunity to get some more from a Moroccan family, they are friendly and caring people. And yes, the food is a bit more expensive than elsewhere but a pleasant surprise for us. Zaid (an unemployed academician, like many) has shown us around the fascinating environment and speaks excellent English. We therefore found it no objection to reward these people more generously for their efforts. They are really not scammers.

Clean little place near the springs. There is a hot shower and a possibility to do the dishes. Everything was kept very simple but perfectly OK. The kitchen is mostly good. There is no menu. The prices can only be found on the billing, which provides a surprise, because the food is not cheap. So better in advance ask the prices.

it's a very small compond. The toilets are clean. It is handy for visiting the nearby Oasis. Zaid's brother's wife is very pleasant & smily, she brought us a lovely bread at breakfast time! Zaid himself is charming, played music for us but be aware he knows how to charge; dh100 for a used copy of his cd. We felt that we'd been ripped off which left a bad taste in our mouths.
