Parque de S João no Canal de São Roque

It was full, and we parked in the bus parking spaces. Sleeping there is impossible because you can hear the highway traffic, and there's a car park next door where people coming from parties shout, bang on cars, and rev their engines to disturb the campers. I wouldn't go back unless I had no other choice. At least it's close to the town center and you can walk there.

Please note the coordinates are not correct, this should be 40°38'37"N 8°39'33"W. Large parking lot on the highway and near the town. Overnight stays allowed. We are here with almost 30 campers. Unfortunately a lot of traffic noise.

From this place you can see Aveiro and sail a boat. Don't forget to haggle. But the camper/parking lot, because that's all it is, is really terrible. We came back to the cp where children just kicked a football against campers. To get to our door we had to crawl under our and the neighbor's wing mirror. The other cp was already full of Portuguese at 10 in the morning. So you are dependent on this.
