a hard-to-reach place due to a slope of 25% in some places, even turning with a long camper is not easy the last exit is not marked so you don't know where it is right three dogs welcome you but if you are afraid of dogs not so nice turned around and drove away (a big fire had also raged)

Hi Hildetony indeed the way is steep but like I use to say a fire department truck must pass throught the village, me I have and old Dudo Merc from 78 with 75 HP four gears and 7 meters long she makes it here slowly but steady to the farm. As for the dogs they are friendly but guess its hard to say if you don't know them... Our phone number is in the site but you gave me the ideia to have it around in cases like this. as to wild fires they are indeed a huge problem in this country.´ Safe travels

Hi Evelyn allow me to explain, like I did the day you left that the electricity in Portugal is expensive, I also told you why we ask for that price because of camper vans staying and using AC while connected to the main electricity of the Farm, giving us bills of almost 200 euros more than usual...Thats also why I ask at payment what was connected and if I can recall I asked between 3-5 euros and received 1. Its also marked on our profile that we don't have a deposit for discharge water, we are working on the possibility but not yet. As for the sweet water, well it would be our pleasure to provide it, but like I said Portugal saw this year 2k22 a severe drought that even in Portugals highest mountain, an area were it snows, H2O mines dried so: No our swimming tank was dry and we couldnt fill your the deposit of the van, but happily offered you 5lt. As for the terrain it's to avoid mud in winter in that area, as we are in a mountain slope so drainage is important. We will have levellers slopes in case more people don't bring them. The dogs bark at night because this is a farm on a natural surrounding, meaning there's some wild life in the vecinity, wish we are happy about, Biodiversity is important and that's why sometimes they bark, Lira also barks at thunders btw. As we have new puppies one of the first recommendations was not to leave things outside as they were on the chewing phase of their growing, over now. To bad you didn't stay longer because you would see that opportunism is not one of the traits of the people living here. Salutes and safe traves
