Camping Călătorul

Fantastic campsite. Very friendly people. With a campervan, you have to accelerate hard to reach the top. Narrow access. But in rainy weather, it all worked out fine. At the exit from Highway 74, there's a clear sign for the campsite. A bit further on, at a junction, there's no sign. You have to go straight there, so don't go to the waterfalls. The next exit is indicated by a campsite sign.

Full star rating from us for camping ‘de Reizigers’ Lenje and Mathias are open/busy for the second season and they are doing great! In a relatively simple way and without losing the authentic look, they have created something beautiful. Clean sanitary facilities, a beautiful outdoor kitchen on the terrace where you can enjoy a perfect cup of coffee and share life experiences. The peace and quiet and the absence of light pollution are the bonus. We will be back!!

Made an Eastern Europe camper road trip together with teenager and dog especially for this campsite. That was/is well worth it. After a week of traveling through Germany, the Czech Republic and Hungary, the peace, nature, the lovely terrace with great coffee ❤️ is a huge relief. Matthias and Ienje, we would love to come back… to see a little more of Romania than just your campsite 🙃
