Camping Vorauen

a paradise on earth!! what an experience, not only the road to it (steep and narrow, you should not be afraid), on the way the beautiful turquoise lake to finally end up at the campsite between the mountains, snow still on the peaks, clear blue sky. a nice nature campsite with streams and hiking trails. no electricity. many permanent places, but how we enjoyed the surroundings. a gem. neat showers / toilet. small shop / chip shop

The rating is valid for the end of September! Plenty of space at this fantastically located campsite on the reservoir. Fjord-like beautiful! The post bus will also be there, but there will be an exciting road to get there for large vehicles. Beautiful walk to Richisau restaurant.

nice place at the Klöntalsee. We arrived late and were put in what we thought was an emergency spot. This was not so nice, a lot of through traffic. For two with a VW bus €70 is definitely too much for the space we got. But still better to have to drive again. The access road is not for the faint of heart for inexperienced drivers and, in my opinion, too narrow for vehicles that go beyond a VW bus.
