A campsite with stunning views (especially from pitches 1 through 5), basic but excellent shower facilities, a good cycle route to Oxford, direct access to a lovely dog walk, and a delicious Indian restaurant in the village. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
I completely agree with the previous review; electricity is also far too expensive, at £9 per day.
The administration was incomplete; we were assigned a pitch that was already occupied. The next day, we were asked to move because our pitch was supposedly reserved by someone else.
The bus service to Oxford is excellent, though.
The price-quality ratio is poor. There are a few porta-potty toilets and showers (some of which are out of order/broken) and no hot water at the sinks. Electricity is available for a fee and there are plenty of water refills.
