Beautiful motorhome just before Trossachs. Flanders Moss is the highest peat bog. you can take a circular walk (0.750 miles) on planks and there is a watchtower with a view of the moor and the Trossachs NP in the distance. The place is popular with the locals to walk their dogs or take a stroll with a stroller. There are two nice wooden tables set up for eating.
lees meerVery nice (new?) place. Space for about 10 campers. two picnic tables with space for a BBQ. You can walk around the peat area on decking and climb the watchtower. We were the only ones in the parking lot, which was lovely. Only in the evening / at night / early in the morning there was an amazing amount of parking. We found it, because we were alone, not very pleasant. We really wondered what those people are doing there...?
lees meerIf you like peace and quiet and do not need amenities, this is a nice place far from civilization. The path to it is narrow and paved with pebbles. Ideal if you want to walk with a nice wide view.
