We were allowed to choose our own spot upon arrival (early August). There were still plenty of spots available along the river. The "busy road" behind the river is actually quite manageable. The restrooms were spotless, and the food on the terrace was excellent. There's not a huge amount to do at the campsite, but it's a nice spot. They don't have a debit card, not anywhere on the campsite. So bring cash.

Great location. The campsite owner was very helpful when we got stuck in the mud with our camper. Delicious soft serve ice cream, beautiful surroundings. Excellent restroom facilities.
