Here shows you on this place the consequences of the prohibition of overnight stays outside campsites. Also this place degenerates to overpriced parking for overnight guests. Rental vehicles and small vehicle vehicles squeeze into every gap. The term campsite is not appropriate. Unfortunately, this condition is found in many places in Iceland.

Overnight at the lighthouse in the parking lot no longer allowed. Large meadow and protected by a stone wall meadow area to the sea with picnic areas as a campsite. Especially suitable for 'rental car tourists', as the airfield is within reach.

Nice place, even in the bad weather sexy photo opportunities. Groundskeeper comes in the morning and evening to collect. Pensioner discount. Kitchen, toilet and a shower simple and clean.

Place with a nice view. Arch bridge in the background does not disturb at all.

Join the assessment. Place is laterally under the parking lot and is equipped for fishing. More than 3 campers can not stay there overnight. For campers longer than 7.5 m not suitable, due to difficult rotation.

The old place was not so nice, but closer to the happening. The parking is a joke, unfortunately not to laugh. Everyone is desperately trying to get the coveted parking ticket. Wonderful place with partial nice views of the chalk cliffs. Comfortable access to a small beach. Hiking trails along the coast to Folkestone. Camping and caravaning club. Access also for non-members (£ 26.60). Very friendly welcome

Was closed (21.09.2017) A few kilometers further to Porthcothan simple campsite on 2 large meadows on the farm "Trevemeder" with a magnificent view (12, - £)

In case of wetness, mobile homes are rejected, since only grass places are offered.
