Stayed here for 6 days. Quiet place on the edge. Many trekkers here, but the surroundings here are beautiful. Donau-Ilz Radweg both ways recommended. By bike from Vilshofen along the Danube ditto. Bayr. Wald starts here. Food simple but deliciously prepared. Super friendly everyone.

If you are looking for peace and quiet and you can manage with 6A, then this is a fantastic campsite. Certainly, the campsite deserves a solid upgrade on a number of points. But the reception is friendly, the sanitary facilities are not hypermodern but clean and good, the grass is neatly mowed, there are separate fields for tents and there is even a pleasant swimming pool. The location is more than beautiful and you can cycle to Heidelberg, as well as to Eberbach.
