We ended up at this camper place by chance today. A beautiful place about 8 km from the highway, so very quiet and peaceful. The reception was very friendly and because we arrived around dinner time, we immediately went to eat in the beautiful restaurant. When paying we were told that the camper place was free because we had eaten there. That is not stated anywhere, but nice to know. The sanitary facilities are fine and clean.

The route to this CP is a party in itself. Beautifully located in rural Hengelo. We were warmly welcomed at the barrier and it immediately felt good to be here. Everything was explained where you can find what. Neat sanitary building with toilets and showers. Make sure you have a few loose euro coins with you. Very spacious places where your camper can be parked on paved surfaces. You yourself are standing on grass. Recommended.

Stayed for 1 night last week, but what a beautiful and quiet place. This was our first time going out with our own camper, but we had a great time trying it out there. Spacious, neat, paved pitches, some of which are under trees. Had a chat with the owners in the evening, felt positive and good. We found that there was only 1 toilet/shower. Unfortunately, this camper place has been closed since 2022. The owner came to us to tell us that they are happily retired. Bad is of course not the right term.

After a long drive from the Netherlands, we arrive at this place. looks very nice, but closed. The contact details state that the campsite is open from April 1 to October 31. Called but got an answering machine 😔 So call first before you drive there.

According to the data, they are open from March 31 to September 30. We were closed there on April 21, no one present. Call was not answered. Too bad, it does look nice. I would call first before you drive there😁

The welcome was warm and nothing wrong with that. The location is very difficult to find. We were on the wrong side of the tracks. We finally found it via Google Maps. Water no problem. Dirty water and toilet box did not work. The next morning we were going to take a shower in the rowing club building, we had been given a key to it. But the water remained cold in the shower 😧 That for €27 per night is not okay😔

Great location, away from the main road. Nice and quiet. Electricity, shower, toilet. Everything is there. Nice and spacious. Very friendly owners. To plan an overnight stay here, all right. We were traveling north.
