Fantastic view of the Chianti region. The village of Panzano is well visited, you can taste a lot of good wine and eat very good meat in the famous butcher. We took another 3 kg of salami. Directions to the place very steep, without infrastructure. Nevertheless, highly recommended, who gets along without all luxury.

Free parking 10 minutes from the market square in Greve Chianti. Good starting point for small excursions in the vineyards and wineries of the Chianti Classico. A bit noisy from the street. The place has (except for electricity) everything a camper needs.

Maundy Thursday we arrived and were amazed. To the regret of the campers, the parking lot was parceled, so that only 5 parking spaces for campers are left. And the price has been increased from 20 € to 36 €. You should absolutely follow the markings with the mobile, it is checked regularly and punished with a fine of 43,00 €. Despite the central location, from us only 3 stars.

On the site of a car repair shop there is a parking space with electricity for officially 30 Mobile. A drinking water connection and a disposal (a bit rustic) are also available. Even with our mobile about 10m, we had no problems on the pitch. At night it was quiet for such a central place. Right at the CP exit the bus 118 goes to the Eternal City.
