An excellent site! The proprietor Coen is the perfect host for this well run campsite that has all you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday living. quite but friendly too if you want interaction with the other guests. Homemade food is delicious and ‘craic’ /fun around the dinner table with other campers in the evening all added to a lovely beginning to out French adventure.

Top marks for this campsite! if you like a different style of site from the usual then this is definitely for you. It’s chilled out surroundings are relaxed an clean and only a couple Kms from Matera but you can always catch the shuttle with Paulo the manager into town if you need. He is a friendly guy that can tell you the historical background onsite as well as present you with most tasty fresh figs from the tree on site. A delight to visit!
