no place that appealed to us in residential areas and 6 large windmills 100 meters behind the CP

I think this place no longer exists. drove up there last night and searched, couldn't find it. fortunately found a very good alternative within a 10-minute drive.

A free CP with picnic tables, waste bins, toilets and a lot of crickets. Good for an overnight stay. We were not bothered by the road but it is there.
