Wir waren drei Nächte Mitte Mai auf dem Platz, der uns gut gefallen hat. Zwar spartanisch, aber alles da, was nötig ist. Dazu ein freundlicher Chef, der ein früheres Leben als Globetrotter hatte und heute den Platz und Schlauchboottouren führt. Der Bhf. Orlamünde ist fußläufig erreichbar. Das einzig störende ist der Zuglärm, vor allem die Güterzüge. Aber mit Ohrstöpsel erträglich. Gerne wieder.

We spent three nights at the site in mid-May and we liked it a lot. It was spartan, but everything you need was there. There's also a friendly boss who used to be a globetrotter and now runs the site and dinghy tours. Orlamünde train station is within walking distance. The only annoying thing is the noise from the trains, especially the freight trains. But it's bearable with earplugs. We'd be happy to go back.
