Very pleasant site. We were there in early May and ground still quite soft. Good facilities. Warden comes to collect money in the evening.

Excellent campsite, ground can become very boggy in bad weather. We were here in June, after bad weather. Sanitary building excellent and clean and nice user space. Only point to note: for 2 people you pay 4900 ISK per night and on top of that for amenities. That is quite more expensive than other campsites. Fortunately, the camping card does apply.

The swimming pool is 1.3 km in the village past the port. Please note that the hot water from the tap in the common room contains sulphur. Silver jewelry turns black. The cold water inside and outside from the hose is fine. The washing machine and dryer work on 100 isk coins. Insert 400 for 140 minutes of washing time.
