Camping Village Fabulous

Today, January 1, 2026, we drove here on a whim because it wasn't really clear whether they were even open. The campsite was open, but there was no room for us, perhaps because we only wanted to stay two nights?

We actually wanted to go to the Roma Village campsite (owned by the same group), but it was full. However, it wasn't a hardship to go there. We were lucky to have a Dutch receptionist who helped us perfectly. You can take the bus/metro to the center of Rome right by the campsite. Tickets are available at the campsite. It also has a nice swimming pool. However, there are also many buses with school groups visiting Rome.

Great campsite, spacious pitches, central laundry facilities for everything, and it's constantly kept clean. Rome is easily accessible by bus and metro. The only downside was the camper service area, which wasn't kept clean. Probably some idiot had emptied their chemical toilet into the wastewater tank. The tank was very dirty. Otherwise, highly recommended if you enjoy a bit of activity; it's a large campsite, but therefore also has many facilities.
