Campercontact platform developments 2022

We’ve been busy developing our platform this year. We created nine motorhome routes full of places of interest, inspiration and practical information in the app. And all in four languages! The motorhome routes are available in the app and downloadable as PDFs, so you can print them out and take them with you on the road. Combine this inspirational content with your own favourites and experience an unforgettable motorhome trip.

More payment options
We have also made preparations to be able to sell Campercontact PRO through our website. This option simplifies the purchasing process. And you have the added bonus of more payment options on the website such as paying by iDeal, SOFORT Banking, Bancontact and credit card (Mastercard, Visa and American Express). Keep an eye on our website. This option will be offered within a few weeks.

You are more than one in a million! 💚

We hit the ground running in 2022, and this is reflected in the growth of our platform. In October, the one millionth Campercontact user logged on to our platform. What a milestone. We celebrated with cake and balloons, but we couldn’t have done it without you. So we decided to collect the best campervan tips from the community especially for you, and we compiled them in an online magazine. 

And no fewer than 3145 new motorhome stopovers, campsites and service areas have been added. And 92,610 reviews and 47,277 photos!

The team behind the platform has also continued to expand. With a committed team of 11 employees and 13 moderators, we ensure that the platform continues to grow day by day.

Plans for 2023

We will continue to put a lot of effort into making our app and website as easy to use as possible throughout 2023.  We'll optimise the search and filtering of locations, show additional information in the reviews and add new motorhome routes.   

• Site search and filtering will be optimised to make it easier to find a suitable motorhome site, with additional information displayed in the results list view.  
• Extra information will be added to the reviews.  
• Within a few weeks it is possible to purchase Campercontact PRO on our website. And can then be purchased among others via iDeal, SOFORT Banking, Bancontact and credit card (Mastercard, Visa and American Express).
• Finally, we plan to expand the number of partners offering relevant services for motorhome owners. The details are still under wraps, but please keep an eye on our developments 😉.
