Campspace in Carnac, Brittany

Experience: Lovely big field all to ourselves and a short, pleasant stroll to the main Carnac stones. Also took the 2 hour circuit round the 3 main avenues of menhirs from Henri’s place. Tips: Fill up with water beforehand if you want drinking water. Field is exactly where Satnav says: at dead end of a side road. There are no signs saying it is a Campspace! No electric or waste disposal. Contact: Henri came to meet us and was helpful when we needed some water (in a jerry-can; not for drinking). His house adjoins the field.

Experience: Tout s'est bien déroulé, le terrain laisse de nombreuses possibilités pour s'installer. Tips: Ne pas suivre google maps mais bien suivre les numéros dans la rue. La maison reste cependant facile à trouver. Contact: Henri et sa femme m'ont accueilli malgré une arrivée un peu tardive, en ayant préparé un bidon d'eau pour ma nuit. Les deux ont été très gentils.
