I visited at the end of October. Lots of permanent residents. The CP section is partly paved (#8) and partly grass (#4-6). When full, it can feel cramped. Due to tight corners, it's not suitable for people over 7.5m or with a long wheelbase. The restrooms are outdated and are also used by café visitors and athletes. The café is cozy. The surrounding area is stunning, with lovely cycling and hiking trails. The Kluisberg is on the Tour of Flanders route.

For a relatively luxurious CP, it's perfectly arranged here. Checking in via the kiosk at the gate is simple. You can pay with card or cash. You choose a spot of your choice. It would be helpful if the spots were marked with something like a rock, as it's not uncommon for someone to almost step in your windshield. The restrooms are modern and clean. The terrace layout ensures everyone has a beautiful view.

The initial reception was a bit awkward (unexpectedly), but ultimately warm. Reception is open from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. Otherwise, please call. Plenty of spaces for regular guests. Approximately 10 spaces for short stays. The spaces are spacious and some are gravel. The restrooms in the main building are new and clean. Cash only! €25 per night, excluding waste (€3), shower (€0.50), dog (€2 + gift), and electricity (€0.6 kWh).

A great concept (just like in the UK) that we should have in the Netherlands too. Parking is free if you eat at the restaurant. You do need to register and make a reservation for dinner. The menu is typically German. The food was good quality. The restrooms are simple but effective. The same goes for the electricity column. It's a nice bike ride to Oldenburg; about 7 km. The road in front didn't bother us.

A no-nonsense parking garage within walking distance of the center of the surprisingly charming Fulda. It's a grassy area. Be careful where you stand in case of rain to avoid getting stuck. The parking garage closes in heavy rain. Payment is made via a kiosk, which doesn't accept all foreign cards. You can also pay with coins, or with the technician if they're available. The restrooms are basic but functional.

Ideally located for visiting Bamberg; less than 5km. The welcome is professional. Signs with rules and regulations are posted throughout the campsite, including rules regarding toilet paper. The campsite is large and can feel a bit crowded. The restrooms are excellent. There are many oak trees, which are currently shedding acorns. Don't be alarmed at night.

Stayed for two nights. A quiet and no-nonsense welcome. The pitches are spacious and mostly gravel. Each pitch has water and drainage. The sanitary facilities (including a kids' shower) are modern and clean. There's a playground with children's equipment. The shop is somewhat limited and improvised. The location on the lake is wonderful. There are limited walking/hiking opportunities. ACSI: €25 per night. There is also a CP.

A solid 5. Beautifully situated among the apple trees. The welcome was very hospitable. The pitches are excellent. Blocks are needed in some places. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. Local products are available in the shop. Very dog-friendly with a nice play area and a gift. Cycling to Lake Constance is recommended. Tip: first go to Wallhausen, then take the ferry (12 across) to Überlingen. It's about 40 km.

A campsite that has all the potential but doesn't quite live up to it. Excellent pitches, but in heavy rain, everything floods. A dog beach, but it's overgrown. The sanitary facilities are functional, but outdated and use a coin-operated system where you don't know when the charge expires. A better price than other campsites near Freiburg that charge over €60 per night. Cycling to the city is easily doable.

Just shy of 5 stars. Well-located in a beautiful setting. A prompt and warm welcome. We were able to choose a pitch. Pitches are spacious, but due to heavy use, quite sandy. The sanitary facilities are good (including a separate shower head) and clean. The bar offers local wine and beer, plus a small menu. The shop is limited. Sauna is available for groups of 4 or more. It's a good base for hiking and cycling. The price is quite high.

This is a great place to stop for a visit to the city of Saarbrücken. Otherwise, the service is rather mediocre. The pitches are uneven. When busy, there's a diversion to the opposite parking lot. Considering the size of the campsite, there are very few restrooms. I'm sure the highway could be heard by light sleepers. There is a bistro and café. I didn't visit. There's little to do outside the city.

A solid 5 out of 10 for CP. We planned to stay one night, but ended up staying two. The harbor master is attentive. The pitches are spacious. Beautiful views of the Moselle and harbor. Water and electricity are available at every pitch. The restrooms are indeed a two-minute bike ride away, but very clean and spacious. There's a bistro (dogs welcome) and a more upscale restaurant. The bistro serves local wines and excellent food. Price: €19 per night excluding electricity.

Situated in a beautiful location in a fantastic (geologically beautiful) hiking area. The welcome was warm and helpful. Many pitches are spacious, but check before accepting. Many pitches are sandy. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. The shower card doesn't always work properly and is uneconomical because you have to wait a relatively long time for hot water. Berdorf is nice for a short visit and coffee.

For a campervan park, everything is perfectly organized here. Good digital check-in beforehand or at the machine. The pitches are spacious. There are plenty of facilities and they're very clean. You can sit comfortably by the river. There's also a place where you can repair your bike. So why 4 stars instead of 5? The shower heads are terrible. They spray everywhere. Tip: try using your own showers.

Well-located municipal campsite close to the town and amenities. The access roads are a bit narrow, but manageable with a maximum of 9 meters. The welcome was friendly and prompt. Reception is open until 4 p.m. in the off-season. After that, you need to call. The pitches are very spacious, but not level. The sanitary facilities are good and are cleaned twice a day. It's an excellent area for walking and cycling. CFL walk #7 to Kautenbach is highly recommended.

5 stars for the price/quality ratio. With ACSI 19 euros p/n incl. everything. 2=3. Where the pitches are spacious (note: if you do not have a pitch number yet, first find a pitch before going to reception.). Friendly reception. The sanitary facilities are basically in good order and clean. The bakery and other shops are a 5-minute walk away. Only the grey water is a bit inconveniently situated. You can cycle, walk and laze around here :-)

Situated in an idyllic spot. On the river Orne. In a beautiful landscape. The campsite is well organised. Friendly and helpful staff. The pitches are spacious, but not always level. The bar with home-brewed regional beer and products, and restaurant are fine. You can cycle and walk there well. Why then 3 stars? The sanitary facilities and (washing) area are old and not clean. Typical French style, but with the wrong effect.

In 2023 at this nice and pleasant campsite. Had a wonderful stay there! So on repeat. Unfortunately. The campsite has changed owners. Despite all attempts it was not possible to get in touch. The website is also outdated. So it seems that the campsite is not (anymore) open. Too bad, because it was a wonderful place for the first days on the road or on the way home.

A more than excellent campsite. The campsite follows the example of the village: neat and everything is in good order here. Arrival is smooth. The pitches are spacious and some are paved. Electricity and water are nearby. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean and sufficiently available. Grey water is a bit of a maneuver. The beach is within walking distance, as are the shops and a wide choice of restaurants.

A great location. Right on the beach; which is prohibited for dogs between 1 June and 1 October, but without much follow-up. Neat reception and helpful. The pitches are very spacious. A power point can be far away. 35 meters of cable is not a luxury. Great (Viking) bar with small restaurant. The sanitary facilities are really outdated and moderately clean (therefore ***). It is a great base for cycling trips to the many museums and monuments in the area.

A rural campsite. Where peace and regularity are highly valued. The managers are elderly and have posted instructions at everything. Upon entering, you have to go through a gate and a barrier. The facilities are dated and reasonably clean. The (un)paved pitches are spacious. There is a bakery within 15 minutes walking distance. It is an excellent base for a visit to Caen (beautiful cycle path) and the Pegasus Bridge.

A no-nonsense campsite. Everything is functional and well-equipped. Many places are for permanent residents. There is a separate field for passers-by that is not very horizontal. The atmosphere is fine. The facilities are good and clean. The reception was hospitable. The village is fairly dull and the bakery is no longer there. There is still a tabac with a simple restaurant. A good base for the beach (1.5 km).

This place breathes the atmosphere of a petting zoo. There are horses, goats and pigs. There are also many frogs that croak happily. The pitches are unpaved, but well maintained. The reception was warm. The managers are well attuned to their guests. The sanitary facilities are simple but fine and clean. There is a bar and excellent food is served. Make sure you order on time (before 6 p.m.). The first dog is free because it is part of the family.

A great campsite to stay for 1 or a few days. You can choose your own pitch. High ramps (>12 cm) are not an unnecessary luxury for some parts of the campsite. The sanitary facilities, like all other facilities, are centralized at the entrance. It is modern and clean. Late guests can use the self-check-in. The price starts from 240DKK without electricity for 2 persons per night. It is a good base for hiking and cycling.

This is a no-nonsense campsite. Everything is in good order. The sanitary facilities. The camper facilities. The very spacious pitches. Without electricity (6 euros extra) the bill came to 239DKK for 2 people and a dog per night. The campsite is a good base for visits to Møns Klint and the village of Klintholm Havn. In that village on the harbour quay there is a good bar with 4 local beers, a nice and sunny terrace and with a beautiful view of the harbour.

1 night; cf. planning.. Was a great stay.. The pitches are very spacious. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. Great kitchen with nice recipes on the wall. You can't empty grey water, despite a sewer on the P-site in front of the campsite. The campsite is clearly in the off-season mode. The reception is closed most of the week. Call upon arrival. The swimming pool is closed. Many seasonal pitches have already been made winter-proof.

Is not a real CP You can basically stand anywhere in the village without showing camping behavior. There are no facilities, except for a public toilet. Why 5 stars then? For the bar in the harbor. Only local beers on tap. The IPA is really great. The barmaid is really interested in her guests. The terrace was lovely in the sun until 18:30 (20/09). On the terrace you can learn everything about the history of Møns. In short: a top place to stop!!

Top camping. Everything is well organized. Check-in went smoothly. Friendly staff. The pitches are spacious, but not level. The sanitary facilities are fairly basic and clean. There is a swimming pool and sauna included. With ACSI per night for 2 people and dog: 201 kr including everything. The city of Holbæk was a bit disappointing, but walking and cycling in the nature/fjord is recommended. In the harbor near the city (near the ferry) there is a good "street food" courtyard.

A CP that really breathes the atmosphere of an active marina. You are standing on gravel. The current is close to almost all places (otherwise max. 45m). The sanitary facilities are clean and not public (code on receipt). You pay via a machine on the corner of the harbor office; you can also just use your bank card instead of CC. Tickets from 12 to 12 o'clock. For delicious coffee and ditto breakfast, Aoife Coffee (see photo) is highly recommended. It is in the Fiskerhavn within walking distance.

Possibly deserves 6 stars. Everything is very well arranged here. From a fast and warm check-in (also possible after closing reception), the information provision, good and spacious pitches, the sanitary facilities, the kitchen, the camper facilities and the playground for the kids. Visiting Aalborg is easy by bike (advice: take the route along the water), by public transport (very frequent) and on foot. There is little noise from the airport.

A great campsite with a beautiful view of the Limfjord. The reception is self-service because the reception is open from 9 to 11 am. Advantage: you can arrive at any time and choose a spacious pitch yourself based on a map. Electricity is paid according to consumption (fill in the form!). The sanitary facilities are not new, but functional and clean. 5 kr coins are needed for showering. There is a kitchen. Grey and fresh water (paid) are outside the gate.

Beautifully situated terraced campsite. Wide variety of pitches: functional to panoramic. If reception is closed, you can check in via a computer (2nd door to the right of reception). Sanitary facilities are good and clean. There is a kitchen and BBQ area. Electricity is expensive: 39kr. The owner (Søren) is helpful and interested in his guests. The Limfjord is within walking distance of the campsite. Skive is 5km by bike/walk. The campsite will close on September 15, 2024.

Good campsite within cycling distance of the beach. Large: so always space. The figures of the mentioned price are correct, but (!) the comma must be moved back 1 place. That is incl. electricity and the use of the swimming pool and the tennis and paddle court. The places are spacious. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. The campsite also serves as a local bakery (order in advance due to crowds). You can also pick up food. You can walk and cycle there.

THE alternative to the free but not always nice CP at Ribe. The standard and luxury pitches are spacious. The reception is good and businesslike. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. You can easily walk around the fish ponds with the dog. Ribe is a 5-minute bike ride away. Even easy to walk to. 180 for 1 night incl. almost everything. Showers and water for the tank have additional costs. We came for 1 night and stayed 3. Excellent base for the car beach on Rømø.

A great campsite. Many places so often plenty of space. The price-quality ratio is a bit out of balance. This is partly due to the crazy municipal kur-tax. Money-making! The dog costs 4.50 incl. use of a dog meadow. Büsum is within cycling distance. Unfortunately, the route runs on the inside of the dike from April to October. Otherwise on the dike with a beautiful view of the mudflats. The sanitary facilities are neat and clean. The pitches are spacious. From 12-14 o'clock it is rest time.

The city: within crawling distance incl. several bakeries and restaurants. Departure: just go. In short: top CP!

Campsite on a quiet farm. The welcome was warm. The pitches, no hedges, are spacious and paved for campers. Drinking and grey water on the pitch. The black water pitch was full of mosquitoes. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. There is a communal area with TV (#Olympic Games). Excellent base for walking and cycling. Cycling to Germany is easy. Stadtlohn Airport is attractively priced for drinks.

Been there for a while. A nice back to basic camper place. Only toilet. A great reception on a working farm. You can park on paved or grass. A tour of the farm is educational for what farmers are imposed by the government. Schoonhoven is within cycling distance and also offers a nice opportunity to cycle a round on Lek dikes. There is a tourist eel smokehouse relatively around the corner.

Been there a while ago. Literally and figuratively had a wonderful stay. Very nice reception. The pitches are spacious. You stand on grass and in case of heavy rain riding mats are not a luxury (we had a monsoon of 30 min = swimming pool). Otherwise the manager helps with the tractor. The wine tour is recommended, because you are "really" surprised. The drinks package is very tasteful. The facilities are modern and clean. Excellent base for walking & cycling.

A great campsite for a short stay or for an event at the TT circuit. You are on grass. The facilities are quite basic and clean. A very water-saving shower ;-) with 1 temperature. The Baggelhuizerplas is behind the campsite. Beautiful recreational lake with a dog beach. Good base for cycling and walking. Assen within cycling distance. During the event there is also a private bar and you can rent subs.

Five stars does not do this campsite justice. There must be at least 6. This is truly an oasis of greenery, a friendly atmosphere, hospitality, well-maintained facilities and security. The pitches are very spacious and separated. The coffee walk-in at 11 am is very pleasant. You can walk into the city in 5 minutes. Plus it is a very good base for walking and cycling. A pleasure to be here. We will definitely come a 3rd time.

Been early in the year. Only CP was open; 6 places. Friendly reception. Received extensive regional information. Good base for walking and cycling. The facilities are basic and clean, but are they sufficient in number in high season? The café also serves as a neighborhood pub. Had nice conversations. The Kleine-Brogel air base can be heard during the week. You may experience this as a nuisance, but of course the campsite cannot do anything about that.

This is a real transit campsite. Fine for 1 night. The pitches, on grass, are spacious, relatively level and easily accessible. The sanitary facilities are outdated. Low toilet bowls without seats are really out of date. It also gets dirtier because 'messages' can 'fall' wrong. There is a beautiful swimming pool and it is in use. The (snack) bar is simple and has a covered terrace. With ACSI it was 17 euros p/n for 2 people. all inclusive.

Easily scores 6 stars. Easy to drive. Reception is friendly and informative. Pitches are spacious and separated. Pay attention to drainage when it rains a lot. There is a pleasant mix of cottages and camping. Sanitary facilities are brand new and very clean. Mixed and 2pers. showers. Swimming pool is big. Lots of open space to let the dog run. Gray and black water are well regulated. There is a (snack) bar, but not tried. Futuroscope is close by.

You can stand here in the middle of the vines, although standing in the front garden (on stones) is also wonderful (shade). The welcome is warm and practical. Formerly free, now €10 p/n incl. E,(10A). At 5.30 pm there is a nice gathering with a glass of wine. When the wine shop is open you can go to the toilet there. Otherwise behind the shed: an old toilet. The Citadel and town are within walking distance via a nice path along the estuary.

Neat large campsite. Arranged as a kind of landscape park. With both unpaved and paved pitches. The latter was not a luxury after heavy storms. Places suitable up to 9m. Pleasant reception and prompt assistance. Sanitary facilities are sufficient and clean. Black and gray water conveniently positioned when driving away. Bread service to the camper. Wifi works well at times. The restaurant has a simple menu. Lots of pizza.

A nice campsite to stay. Beautifully situated in nature and with various hiking trails. The sanitary facilities are brand new. The tiles can be slippery when it rains. Greywater place only has 1 hose for clean water + cassette to rinse. For the shrine there is a pass for the back entrance. Walking 15min. With bus €1 and 2min. When parking, carefully check the condition of the ground. The drainage is bad. Avoid getting stuck! Having a riding mat is not a luxury.

Relatively new campsite. You can see that in everything. Modern and well cared for. Pitches are spacious and mostly level. The roads on the campsite are somewhat narrow. For 8.5 m max. Sanitary is clean, only showers are a bit narrow / small. Excellent supermarket, swimming pool and restaurant on the campsite. Many locals also come there. Tip: make reservations for dinner. With ACSI all incl.: €21 p/n. Cycling to Pamplona is possible via a good road (18 km) with hills.

Very neat so far still free CP (under construction). Good base for visiting the Bardenas Reales desert. CP is a bit higher, so the wind cools you down nicely and a nice view. The tarmac pitches are spacious and suitable up to 9m. Part of the access is still a bit bad. Shower (lukewarm water) and toilet available code:293097# Electricity via coins or drinks at 3 bars. Camper equipped. are good. Tip: for managed: place waste containers.

A beautiful and well organized campsite. Spacious pitches on terraces. Less suitable for >8m due to narrow free streets on the terraces. Check-in goes smoothly. Has all the amenities you want and in good order; including swimming pool. It's quite busy. Many Dutch people. Tip: walk in the morning to the monastery further up the hill (1km), before the coaches arrive. Potes is beautiful (especially the back streets), but very busy / touristy.

A basic CP. The pitches are concrete with grass and fairly level. No camping behavior allowed, but every pitch has a "garden" where you can sit?! The check-in machine is a disaster. First check which place you want! They vary in length. If you want to extend you have to check in again. Hot water only in high season. Sanitary facilities are okay and reasonably clean. €15 is a bit much. Great base for hiking in the Picos.

Popular campsite. Reservation recommended. Beautifully situated in relation to the sea and many viewpoints. At the top you are relatively high and you can catch a lot of wind in bad weather! Strange: ACSI is not accepted, but they do have the sticker of 2023! Price without electricity for 2 people was €21.40 p/n. With electricity +€4. Great base for architecture in and around Gijon. Sanitary facilities well maintained and clean. Mixed showers. Supermarket opposite the campsite.

Great for standing for 2 or 3 days. The plots are sometimes a bit narrow for larger campers from 7.5 m, but often level. Sanitary facilities are well maintained and clean. The beach is a 'crawl' distance. The restaurant is simple. Staff speak English. With ACSI everything incl. €21 p/n. Excellent base for cycling to Foz (12 km and 250 m altitude. one way) and Ribadeo (18.5 km and 160 m). Many signs: no dogs on the beach. Is ignored a lot 😊😜

Spaciously set up as a landscape park with various statues. Not suitable for large motorhomes: >7.5 meters. Pitches are spacious, shaded and reasonably level. The sanitary facilities are good and clean. Air traffic is noticeable but did not bother us. There is a mini shop. The larger supermarket is about 800 meters away. The greywater is somewhat impractical due to its location and narrow passage. Cycling to A Coruña is fun and requires a good level of fitness through the hills.

5+ stars. Atmosphere is important on a CP and the host has done that well. He is very sympathetic, cooperative and rich in language skills and humour. Everything is very relaxed and we got a performance from the band in which he plays. Very cool and good music. The sanitary facilities are basic and clean. The dog is allowed to run in the field next to the pitches and there is a corner to let them out. SdC is easily accessible by bus, walking via El Camino and by bicycle.

Beautiful and spacious with areas for tents, campers / caravans and glamping. In the middle of nature: forest & water. The pitches vary from compact to spacious and level to sloping. The sanitary facilities are good and clean. The restaurant is good in its simplicity and very affordable. With ACSI: €17 all incl. You can do many outdoor activities and the staff is happy to help you with that. They speak good English. Take care of your shopping in advance. There is bread service.

A great campsite for 1 or 2 nights to visit Porto. Many pitches, but they are mostly compact and not very level. The sanitary facilities are in order and reasonably clean. There was not always hot water in all buildings. There are sports facilities in the back where you can also let your dog loose to play balls / run. Beach within walking distance. Take the beach route if you want to cycle to Porto. Nice trip of 23 km (round trip). More inland many cobblestones.

This is not just a pitch, but a piece of paradise. The field for campers is spacious and reasonably level. The estate around it is beautiful. You can go almost anywhere. Pedro and José are very nice hosts and really interested in their guests. Take your time for the wine tour. José does that masterfully. There is by no means an obligation to buy anything. Also spend a day in the area. What a wonderful initiative! Many thanks!!

A well located city campsite. The center is easy to reach by bus, bicycle and Uber. It is a terraced campsite which gives many a beautiful view. It is free standing. There are no plots. The road structure is quite clumsy. After driving around for a nice pitch, you end up outside the entrance gate again. The black/grey water is inconveniently positioned on departure and is difficult to maneuver at busy times. The check-in (incl. queue) took a long time.

Potentially a good site and location for the city of Evora. But it doesn't really get off the ground. There have been few sanitary facilities and washing-up areas for the entire campsite for a while now. We are working on it but it is progressing slowly. Many trees bear some kind of burrs that can leave unsightly stains on everything. The grey/black water supply is very poor. You need a hose for greywater, there is no ramp. The E-points are sometimes far: >30m

This is a piece of paradise on earth and worth 6 stars. The campsite is located on a peninsula surrounded by a well-stocked reservoir. There are no plots. You can stand freely if you keep only 10m away from others. The sanitary facilities are simple and clean. Make sure you have most of your groceries with you as it is quite remote. There is a mini sup.market that is open for 2 hours. The restaurant is good and only open during the day. There is limited WiFi.

All the building blocks for a good campsite are present, but the result is different. The grounds and pool out front are well maintained. The rest fairly moderate to almost none. The sanitary facilities are outdated. Not everything was open or working. The staff are polite but not at all assertive or proactive. The reservoir is almost empty due to the drought (can't help the campsite of course). But all things considered, there was a desolate and empty atmosphere.

A large campsite. With places between the pine trees. Many sanitary facilities, very clean and sometimes a bit outdated. Possibility to choose where you stand; no plots. Electricity is not available everywhere. Some pitches on concrete. Cafe/restaurant out front is good. Cabo Sagres (fort closes at 6 pm) and São Vincente (lighthouse grounds open from 10 am Then quickly busy with buses) within cycling distance. Bread service = fresh pistolets. With ACSI all inclusive it was €23 p/n.

A well-kept camper place. The pitches are terraced, well level and gravelled. Vary in dimensions. Large campers (>8m) can park here. The sanitary facilities are clean but could be a bit more solid. There is a lovely veranda. Supermarket within walking distance. Cycling to Lagos is possible (15km) but partly along the N125. On arrival, drive in a straight line via the "R. 25 de Abril" up high to avoid tight bends.

A very large campsite with swimming pool and many sports facilities. Yet it is cozy because 'neighborhoods' are formed around (many) sanitary facilities. There are many permanent British residents. Pros: The staff speaks good English. There is a wide variety of pitches, often not level. Lukewarm water comes from many (cold) taps, which can easily lead to legionella in your tank in warm weather. It is a great base for Olhão and Faro by bike or possibly. public transport.

A large campsite. There are pitches with and without sun awning above the pitches. The pitches are spacious with some unevenness. With ACSI everything is included for €19 p/n. The sanitary facilities are modern and reasonably clean. The washing up area is inconvenient due to small pressure taps. The beach is 200m away and dogs are also allowed. Some complain about road noise, which was not a problem for us. The restaurant is open early and makes nice hearty "cortado".

A good CP for a visit to Seville. Is within cycling distance: 8 km mainly on cycle paths or by bus (stop nearby). Pitches are fine and have electricity. Amenities are extra as it is a CP. But make sure they work. Bars and restaurants close by. Can lead to some partying on weekends. You cannot book in advance. Tip: come between 09:00 and 12:00 for a good chance of a place.

An excellent and well organized campsite. The pitches are spacious. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. Helpful and active staff. Restaurant Hippi is great! There is a small supermarket. Beach at 200 meters. With ACSI everything is incl. €23 p/n. The ferry to Cadiz is 2 km away. Dogs are not allowed. But in Cádiz there are a few parking spaces where you can also park your camper/van. You can also cycle: 22.km one way incl. steep/high bridge.

Prima CP. The pitches are spacious. Also places for bus campers. You can use the shower and toilet at the harbor office. Gibraltar is at 750 meters. On arrival, take the service road on the road to Gibraltar to take the possibly. long queue to cross the border. Check your parking ticket because people sometimes charge the wrong rate (>7.5m instead of <7.5m; saves €2) can be adjusted at the harbor office. Do not bring food into/out of Gib. due to UK/EU rules.

We were supposed to stay here for 1 night, but ended up staying 3. It is a very spacious campsite with a wide variety of pitches. Larger campers can also park here. The facilities are reasonable and sometimes need some maintenance. The restaurant, in front, is good. It is a good base for trips to Olvera, Setenil & Zahara. -1 star: many clean water points give too hot water, which can lead to legionella. Shower does give cold water

A nice campsite. Fully equipped. Sanitary facilities located in several places. It is modern and very clean. The pitches are spacious and reasonably level. The reception was quite businesslike and very assembly line work. Booking in advance is not possible. The swimming pool is and will remain closed until June despite the heat wave. The restaurant in front of the campsite is good. Portions can be large. Ronda is 1.8 km away.

Very friendly reception by staff. Walked along to the pitch and gave a good explanation. Place 3 sizes: basic(€25p/d+E), XL(35) & XXL(40). Base is suitable for 7m. Not clear on site. Sanitary facilities are fine and clean. There is a bake-off bread service (€1) + breakfast/coffee cafe. Beach at 200m and Nerja at 2km by bike. Gray water through driving route somewhat cumbersome. Environment very touristy. Good dentist for possibly. emergency?: Nerja Dental Clinic.

A good base for the Sierra Nevada. The route to it is already breathtaking. Manager Tino is very friendly and hospitable. He likes to tell you about the area and gives you tips / map for the rest of your trip. The pitches are spacious and level. The sanitary facilities are slightly outdated but clean. There is electricity and good wifi everywhere. There is an app with all the information about the area, including menus of restaurants and walking tours.

A camper place in the middle of the orange and lemon trees. Hortensia and Sjaak are very hospitable and interested in their guests. The sanitary facilities are fine and clean. For electricity you need a long own cable and don't use too many amps. The baker comes to the camper place every day. On Friday also the fishmonger. You can walk and cycle well here. South of Santomera there is a nice asphalted cycle path to Murcia. Recommended!

This is not a campsite, but a nice pitch. To meet people and nature, to relax and to gain your own insight. An artistic breeding ground with a gallery where you as a nomad can also work well on the WiFi. Paulina and Bart are very hospitable. You can enjoy a good cup of coffee in the morning and a local glass of wine in the afternoon. You are welcome to use a shower or toilet. They ask for a small contribution for their REC.ON project.

6 stars for the location, the environment, the view, the hospitality, that everything is so neatly arranged, for the organization of Marcos, for the spacious pitches, for the wine tasting / tour, for the wine and finally for the sustainable philosophy that Neleman proclaims and puts into practice here. You can cycle and walk well. This really is a little haven of peace and with nice interactions with the villagers. Highly recommended!

6 stars are definitely appropriate here. Everything is top notch. The sanitary facilities are modern and are thoroughly cleaned every day. The reception is very attentive and active. English is spoken. And (for the ladies!) there is a double of the younger Antonio Banderas. The restaurant is a bit pricey for Spanish standards but very tasteful (closed on Wednesdays). The pitches are spacious and for a maximum of 8 meters. Albarracin is within walking distance 1 km. #recommended

This campsite has a lot to offer in high season. There is a variety of pitch sizes. There is a lot of shade due to the wooded area. The sanitary facilities are slightly outdated but clean. Gray and black water is outside the campsite. There is a good and clean restaurant for which you have to make a reservation (they ask). In the preseason the swimming pool was closed. There is a shop at the reception. Minus 2 stars due to the high price (€35 per night + 2 persons incl. E).

The campsite was taken over by a Dutchman 2 years ago. The sanitary facilities have been upgraded and are very clean. The pitches are spacious and well cared for. At the same time, it is still a work in progress. More pitches will have electricity. And the administrator wants to expand. The bar and simple restaurant have a cozy atmosphere. This is a campsite with a relatively large number of houses and permanent residents. We soon had contact, so that made it cozy. The pitches are suitable for motorhomes up to a maximum of 7 metres. Greywater is on the pitches. Has advantages, but the disadvantage is that the well is sometimes not conveniently positioned for every camper. The restaurant is excellent with an extensive menu. English is spoken at the reception. The sanitary facilities are slightly outdated but clean.

A good CP to visit Huesca. There are 15 official (marked) pitches, which are often full before 12 noon. After that there are still quite a few places between the trees. Around 1.30 pm the CP (with 34 campers) was overcrowded. After that, many campers drive around in hopeful circles. It is then important that you are not blocked. The amenities are reasonable. Behind the stadium there is a nice fenced dog walking area. There are 2 supermarkets within walking distance.

If you're looking for a pitch off the beaten track, this is well worth the detour. The refugio is located on a hill overlooking the Sierra de Guara. The facilities are basic and well cared for. You are always welcome in the refugio for a nice conversation or for a drink/small meal. Administrators Vanessa and Ismaël speak limited English. There are no shops, so make sure you have done your shopping. You can walk and cycle well.

Here "6 stars" apply with ease. The campsite is new and so are the facilities. The sanitary facilities are super clean. The pitches are very spacious and equipped with electricity (2 & 3 pins). There is a swimming pool and grill/bbq area. There is a bar where you can drink good coffee/tea and beer/wine from the region. The owner is a connoisseur and very friendly and helpful. You can walk and cycle well. This is worth the detour.

5 stars for the location in the natural park, the layout of the campsite, the spacious pitches, the clean and modern sanitary facilities and above all the friendliness and helpfulness of the manager. The manager speaks Spanish, Catalan and French. Otherwise, use Google Translate. From Espot there are taxis (€11.50 return) to the 1st lake in the park. Cycling is only possible with a maximum gradient of 21% or walking (14.5 km return).

A basic CP. Mix of parked cars and campers. It can be a bit restless at night with locals. Large campers can also park here. It's not level. The CP facilities are hidden in the extreme point of the site. The supermarket and bakery are top notch and cheap. During opening hours you can use the very clean toilets on floor -1. Glad River maintains this CP. A good option for Andorra La Vella by bike (7km)

This campsite has all the building blocks for 5 stars, but the implementation leaves something to be desired. There is currently a lot of construction going on on the site. Cottages and swimming pool. That causes some inconvenience. But the plumbing (outdated) was not cleaned in 3 days. Only 1 shower was open. The wifi was offline. The pitches are spacious. Each pitch has water and electricity. There is a top bakery, a good supermarket and an excellent snack bar in front of the campsite.

A beautiful, small-scale and well-maintained campsite. The pitches vary from very spacious to quite compact. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean, but a little small when the campsite is completely full. For dogs there is a fenced field to play. It is a good base for cycling to Carcassonne and Bram. The rate is €19 p/d/2pers., dog €2, electricity €6 and tourist tax €0.60. The managers are nice, helpful and speak English.

A great campsite run by Dutch people. The campsite is open all year round for the rental of cottages. The campsite is for tents and campers and is open from April 20. See further the website.

A top CP for an excellent price: €11. The location is perfect for visiting the city, the Canal du Midi and the lock complex. Everything is within walking or cycling distance. The CP is well organized. The parking places are spacious and mostly level. The standard price already includes 100L of water (although they don't measure that). The electricity is cut off due to the high price. Will be reported in advance. The grounds are monitored by cameras and well lit at night.

A prima aire de camping car. Suitable for small and very large motorhomes. The facilities are basic but fine. The welcome was warm and helpful. Without the electricity the rate was €9.22. Dogs are welcome free of charge. The pitches are spacious and mostly level. It is a good base for visiting the walled city of Aigues-Mortes and the salt fields of the famous La Baleine brand. You can also watch flamingos well

Basically a great campsite. Base for Sainte-Maxim and Sainte-Tropez, mountain biking, walking the dog or the beach. Too bad that many facilities are still closed: the supermarket (Proxi), div. shower buildings and the restaurant. There are also relatively many activities (starting at 8 am). The pricing is a bit opaque. It is said that ASCI does not pay off because the price would be lower now. Is not true. A dog is €5 p/d without any service.

Great base for (bicycle) trips to Antibes, Nice and Monaco via excellent cycle paths. The campsite consists of 2 parts. The main area, where the reception is, has all the amenities. Across the road is an annex with only toilet, shower and sink. The pitches are well maintained and reasonably spacious. Some pitches have a narrow entrance through trees or hedges (such as #33). The dependency is a little less packed together.

This campsite is closed until April 22, 2023 despite being shown in the CC app as open from Feb 1. is indicated.

One of the few campgrounds open in this area as early as March. There is a free parking space on sand 200m further on and opposite (at the Orapi Market) a kind of stopping place. Les Ruisses has spacious gravel pitches. The sanitary facilities are clean and somewhat outdated. People are sparing with hot water. The price for 2p incl. dog and electricity is 21 euros. The bakery in the village has no pin and the 8 a Huit is open from 9 am and sometimes closed.

A fine and raked CP. Drive to it from the outside - not inside as Google Maps says. There are 10 asphalt pitches. You can easily lose gray water. You cannot empty a cassette there. There is free water except in winter. The CP is located behind the swimming pool where you can swim well and therefore also shower ;-) (see photo for opening hours 2023). For the dog there are enough old tennis balls from the 4 courts (next to the CP) outside the fence.

A nice CP at a winery in the "front garden". The power (is switched on per connection) and drain are also there. In the building next door is a Gites and a Cave. Doing a wine tasting there is definitely recommended. There is a basic shower and toilet in the courtyard (note the blue/white sign with male/female

A basic stay for a basic price. It is an open field with some (nice) semi-permanent residents. Fill out a form on arrival (go to the door with "accueil" on it in the shower/toilet building) and text the manager (number in the office). In the evening / morning you will then pay. Shower/WC modern and clean. There are diff. power points. Price incl. electricity €12.50. You can walk well; to, for example, the ruins of Chateauneuf + viewpoint

The location is top with views of the river Le Doubs and the canal. The camper pitches are spacious. Not all paved with gravel. So take a look before you choose something. Electricity is not available everywhere either; is in the middle ground. The sanitary facilities are outdated, without a toilet seat (-1 star), but neat and clean. The costs are now €20.50 p/d incl. electricity. The restaurant is only open in July and August. The bakery at 4min walk is really a French recommendation.

A great CP where everything is in good order. The paved pitches are spacious. All pitches have electricity (always) and water (except winter). The sanitary facilities -in the captainerie- are neat, function fine, but a bit dated. 1 night costs 12 euros including electricity. The area is (now) less suitable for walking because many small bridges have been closed off due to work. The restaurant at the harbor will be open again from March 4.

An excellent campsite with approx. 10 pitches for campers. 7 herringbone parking places and a few places spread over their terrain. In the winter this is a real stopping place for when you are passing through. The sanitary facilities are fine. The men's showers were closed. Luckily it wasn't too busy with the women. The bistro kitchen was open between 6-7 pm. The food was tasty, but relatively small portions. Pleasant managers who are happy to help

Easily scores 6 stars. Spacious pitches. Well maintained surface and turf. The facilities are modern and clean. With a cozy central area with bar, TV, music, pool table and seats. Coffee or tea is also served there at 11 am. Nice get together and feels homey. The managers are hospitable and interested in their guests. The campsite is located in the village with everything close by. A top address and deliciousness in one.

The campsite has been built around the concept of a trout fishing pond and good(!) restaurant. There are about 20 pitches, with a relatively large number of guests who stand there for a long time. Facilities such as showers and toilets are modern. Too bad there is no soap dispenser at the sink. Electricity is not available at all places. Get an extension. Fishing starts at 6.30 am and sometimes with some enthusiastic buzz. Light sleepers may notice this.

A large campsite/park with options for every type of stay. Spacious. There are many seasonal and annual pitches. All facilities are available, up to 2 large washing machines (€5) and dryers (min. €1). It is a bit old, but clean. Please note: after 29-08 many things are closed, such as catering, swimming pool, sports facilities. That gives a somewhat desolate and expired atmosphere. It does not invite to stay a little longer out of season.

A quiet farm campsite in the middle of apple and pear trees. A warm and no-nonsense welcome from the owner. There is an upper part (open field) and a lower part (partly hedged pitches). The facilities are a bit older but clean.There is an indoor area with table tennis and other games. You can also charge your e-bike there. There is no gray water well. You can easily reach the U.S. from the campsite. cemetery. Impressive.

A campsite run by a family; several generations (since 1956). With pride. This is reflected in the facilities such as toilets, washing up facilities and showers. The staff is caring. Some pitches are a bit small. But doable with a camper. The campsite has 2 levels: upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs is a bit older and without dogs. Down the opposite. Many visitors stay here for a longer period of time. There are budget places.

This is a no-nonsense motorhome. All facilities are available at a good basic level. Neat and clean. The owners are cordial and give tips about the area. The pitches are not level. Leveling is often necessary. There is a combi microwave and a fridge with drinks for 1 or 2 euros. The site is adjacent to an open field and a deer park. How beautiful is it to wake up to a view of deer!? A real sense of freedom!

For a mini campsite, it is spacious with spacious pitches. The sanitary facilities are more than spotless. All facilities are available and of high quality. Until the radio (local station) in the toilet 😜 The managers pay a lot of personal attention to the guests and are happy to think along with you.
