Beautiful and well-maintained terrain. It is an old orchard, so you have to be careful that you drive into a branch. Surprising that there are so few campers. Therefore it is wonderfully quiet. Sanitary facilities are clean, but have seen better days. For a camper and two people we paid 25.- euros (including electricity).

Most reviews are rightly positive. What no one comments on is the fact that there is a stream of cars driving in and out of the park all day long. The CP is right next to that entrance and exit and there are ridges in the road. So every car makes quite a bit of noise. This CP can therefore not be called quiet. If you want peace and quiet, you have to go for a walk or a bike ride or a swim. The occupancy of the CP can vary greatly from day to day.

Unfindable because the coordinates are not correct. You should not enter the village. Along the N-630 you will see a turnoff to Alberque de Peregrinos. You should take that road. After about 300 meters you will arrive at the former station. The turnoff is, depending on which direction you come, before or after the village. The CP is not much. The place at the former station of Ferrocarril is nice.

Very spacious and quiet place. The campsite is only open in July and August. We were allowed to stand on the gravel anyway.

Shaded campsite. No fiddling around and/or the manager who comes to connect the power. Hot water in the showers. More than adequate sanitary facilities. Of course you can moan about the fact that the plumbing was not installed last year or that the campervan storage is not an idyllic sight. You can cycle beautifully along the disused railway route. When you're in front of the former station, turn right for the most pristine route

Everything neat and tidy. The owner is very careful with his belongings. He personally connects and disconnects the electricity (“Security”). The screeching and grumbling and sometimes knocking comes from the large nearby quarry. However, that noise is only during the day. The village has hardly any charm.

A full holiday village above a busy town. Everything is on top of each other. Very large scale, little intimacy.

I endorse all the positive comments from fellow reviewers. As a special feature, I would like to mention that the attentive and alert attitude of the manager gives a safe feeling. The chance that someone slips onto the site to quietly take a closer look is small. If you are close to the road, you can hear it well. If you are at the back of the property, you hardly hear him.

According to the lady at the reception, we had come via the adventurous route. Thanks to Google we got there through small villages with narrow streets. And when you drive onto the site, it looks attractive. Very friendly welcome, everything fine. We were there on a public holiday, so many campers. The swimming pool is high and the voices of the children echo across the grounds. Peace? Not. The campers are close together.

Chose this campsite lured by the reviews. The bureaucratic reception lasted more than fifteen minutes. on the leaflet the sights were only in Spanish. The do's and don'ts were in four languages. In the toilets, too, there were notices with rules everywhere. The manager thought it necessary to mow with a lot of noise on Sunday. Stayed one night.

Excellent campsite and certainly not only as a transit campsite. Very spacious pitches. Pick your own place. The reception is a somewhat bare-bones affair, not aimed at retaining customers for longer. No information about what to do in the area. Plumbing is good, but there seems to be little attention to keeping it up to date. If something is broken, it will stay broken for a very long time. You get a code for the wifi, but small range.

Very pleasant campsite, spacious pitches. Pick your own place. bread service. New toilet block, also a new reception building with sanitary facilities. Friendly and helpful manager. Excellent cycling opportunities. Mayenne is at the end of the towpath from Daon. From Daon to Mayenne is 80 km. From Mayenne you can cycle the 'lavelofrancette' to Caen. The route follows former railway lines and quiet rural country lanes.

Spacious, quiet campsite. Plumbing is somewhat dated, but everything works and is very clean. Friendly lady at the reception. There are plenty of power connections and water taps scattered throughout the site. There is bread service. You can make beautiful bike rides along the canal and in the forest.

If you like CPs, where you are close to each other on asphalt, then this is the place to go. An additional attraction of this CP is that there is so little space that latecomers and early leavers have to maneuver quite a bit to get in resp. to come out. There is a sani column, where you can empty your toilet. It is not possible to rinse clean, because the relevant tap has been dismantled. Within walking distance large supermarket with gas station.

Large, quiet and simple campsite. In total about 70 places, spread over three fields. Approx. 12 places on the Loire. Relatively few sanitary facilities, but a number of water points spread over the site. Plumbing is basic and somewhat outdated. Everything works fine and is clean. The campsite is not closed with a barrier, even if the reception is not occupied, you can find a place. Fairly narrow access bridge. Nice cycling area.

Campsite with spacious to very spacious pitches. Two sanitary buildings. Sanitary clean and cared for. Friendly staff. The campsite is accessible all day long. So no barrier that prevents you from entering the site if you are a 'new' camper. Emails are responded to quickly. Beautiful cycling area, and not just along the canal. Camping is definitely recommended, even if you can smell the wood processing industry a few km away.

Very pleasant campsite, many birds. The manager spends a lot of work on keeping the campsite in order. That's fine in itself, but if you do mow or cut hedges somewhere every day, use equipment with a battery. Much less noise pollution. Veloroute 4 is close by. In the shop you can get good wine and cider. Sanitary very clean. This campsite is definitely recommended.

On arrival we were asked how long we were staying. When we said we didn't know that yet, but at least two nights, we had to pay those two nights in advance. The receptionist grabbed the bike and rode forward. She showed us the spot and turned around. Although there were plenty of shady spots, we got a spot without any shade. She was too busy to allocate another seat after that. Nice to cycle. Not coming back here.

Excellent CP. Price is 225 Swedish Krona. That includes toilets, shower, washing machine and dryer. You need a pass for these facilities. 100 SEK deposit and can be obtained from the “plats sheriff” and in the cafe. When we returned the pass, we discovered that the cafe is more than worth a visit. Incidentally, there is now a 'normal' facility for draining away 'grey water'.

Beautiful, atmospheric place. We were there around September 5th and then the toilets were closed. There was power. When we came in the afternoon, we were the only ones. Later in the afternoon another camper and a car with caravan arrived. There are 8 numbered places. If they are all occupied, the nice thing about this Camper Spot is: the campers are then close to each other and you have hardly any privacy.

Perfectly organized campsite. Beautiful location on the lake. Despite the size of the site, little noise. If all places are occupied, there will be too few sanitary facilities. WiFi excellent throughout the campsite. The lake has a beach that slopes downwards and only after about 15 meters is the water too deep to stand. Canoe rental nearby. Don't come here on the weekend: Saturday night the road is playground for speeding cars, screaming youngsters with loud music

Spacious motorhome. All amenities are available and well maintained. As one of the reviewers points out: you have to take care of your experiences/entertainment yourself. There is no event team.

Nice CP. Close to the A61, but the road noise is not too bad. Possibility of wine tasting on the Weingut (3 min walk), next to it is the restaurant. Nice food for reasonable price. CP has - except - electricity no facilities. V+E possibility at the Raiffeisen gas station in neighboring village (Westhofen - 3.5 km). Around Gundersheim many cycling and walking opportunities. Gundersheim has a large Edeka supermarket (600 meters from CP).

Spacious and quiet campsite, all amenities available. Friendly and helpful owners. Many and clean sanitary facilities, nice hot showers. There is an unpleasant smell in the toilet block. You can enjoy cycling and walking in the area. Many power connections and water taps in many places. In the town a bakery, chocolatier and restaurants. No supermarket found (is in the next village).

Part of the gravel area is now used for storage of gravel and rubble. Excavators regularly drive back and forth. Lots of hanging out. We drove to Aire de Sundwiller (site code 88444), but it looked abandoned and neglected. So back to the museum anyway. Night was quiet, but the next morning the excavators were active early. All sani facilities are present and working.

A beautifully situated campsite, lots of space and a very relaxed atmosphere. Plumbing is very simple, but clean. The campsite is above 700 meters, so nice and cool at night. There are shops and restaurants in the village. It is good to cycle in the area, but there are no marked routes, so use Komoot or something. The farmer is a real host, comes by almost every day to hear if everything is to your liking. Few power connections, so long cable needed.

Beautiful, spacious and quiet campsite. Clean sanitary facilities, more than sufficient capacity. Very friendly staff. Good food in the restaurant, pleasant and relaxed service. The campsite has all amenities (including swimming pool and paddling pool). Large supermarket 2.5 miles away: exit the campsite and immediately turn right along the canal (keep the canal on your left). There is a large market in that town on Saturday morning.

Very quiet campsite, the hares hop around your camper. Campsite to relax with a book. The area does not seem to be accessible to tourists: no network of hiking trails, with cycling you always end up on a D-road. Sanitary is neat, Camping is at the price: camper, 2 persons and use of electricity: 25 euros (+ 44 cents tourist tax). Except for the beautiful location, there is nothing. For discharge and intake of water, you pay 5 euros.

We got there at 2pm but the gate was locked and reception didn't open until 4pm. We thought two hours of waiting was too much. We drove to another campsite. At least five other motorhome/caravanners have done the same during the time I discovered that reception didn't open until 4pm.

Quiet campsite with spacious pitches. Excellent sanitary facilities and a very friendly receptionist. Voie verte runs past the campsite. Cluny (market on Saturday morning) 45 minutes by bike. Taize is five kilometers. Chateau de Cormatin is located in the village and can be visited. Restaurants and shops in the village.

Small-scale and well-maintained campsite. Spacious and clean sanitary facilities. Spacious pitches, WiFi has good coverage and is fast. Helpful administrators. The website of the campsite provides a lot of information about activities in the area. There is good cycling in the area, but you do cycle on (quiet) D-roads. There is a “ligne verte” (from the campsite right over the bridge and then to the right. After 1.5 km you cross the ligne verte. Turn right to Decevey.

The Camper Spot itself looks fine. The pitches are separated by large hedges. We were there at 1.30 pm on a sweltering day and then such a shadowless gravel plain is not really tempting. The campsite seemed more shaded. However, the barrier was closed and the reception turned out to be closed from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm. Then we drove on.

After days of rain, the parking lot is half under water. Because the terrain has subsided, the drains are above the asphalt. 40 NOK is not much, but the car park is not much either. I found the glass construction above the remains of the cathedral more interesting than the remains themselves. Railway museum is within walking distance.

In mid-September it looked so gloomy that you actually have to get money to stand in this parking lot.

We were there in mid-September, after it had rained for a few days. The fields were almost under water. No one was there, we also did not investigate how far we would descend. The site is close to the start of the walking path to the "hole".

Parking costs 200 NOK. No electricity, no waste place, no rubbish bin and no WiFi. Use of toilet, but that is also in the camper. Using the shower costs NOK 20 per 5 minutes. During a storm you are completely exposed in the parking lot.

Neat, spacious and well-arranged. Everything worked. Modern gas station with fast WiFi. Very often you will find sani stations at YX gas stations. As a thank you for the free use of the sani station, I always refuel at YX.

This is how you imagine a camper place in Norway: quiet, on the water and fantastic views. Also seen porpoises. Via the old road you can walk to the village of Bjórke (2.5 km). Sleepy village where there is nothing except peace and beautiful views. The CP is just through the tunnel on the left. If you turn left just before the tunnel, you will find two camper pitches with electricity. 200 NOK per night.

Bare, sloping asphalt plain. I am not frugal, but there must be some 'value for money'. Tapping 150 NOK to be here is too much. So we drove on.

A quiet campsite with all the amenities needed. Friendly reception. For a camper and two people you pay 250 NOK, electricity is 50 NOK. Walking distance to the glacier museum. Plumbing is not the newest, but spotlessly clean.

Fairly wide parking lot, so you are far enough from the road. Hardly any traffic at night and during the day it is not too bad. If it is not too busy (we were there at the end of August), you can stand by the water. There is a high side. There are no facilities other than waste containers.

The place is at an altitude of over 1000 meters with a view of the beautiful surroundings. However, you are on the road that connects road 40 with Tessungdalen. We arrived on Friday, the day on which many Norwegians go to their cabin. It was as if we were on a provincial road (Max speed 60 km / h). Only when it got dark did silence set in. The next morning many cars with walkers.

Quiet place on a lake. If you drive a little further, you will find even more places on the lake. The advantage is that you can stand up straight there more easily. In both places the steepness of the driveway (actually the exit) is not that bad. The first night we were the only campers, the second night there were five campers and two caravans. Clean toilets and waste bins that are emptied regularly.

Although relatively on the main road, you are very quiet here. Close by is a restaurant. There is a Sani station, where you can discharge gray water and chemical toilet for free. Electricity and drinking water cost (little) money. Definitely unsuitable for large motorhomes. Judging by the concrete, many motorhomes here have sustained considerable damage. With a 6.5 meter Cupboard trolley you have to be very careful.

What a beautifully located CP. Very quiet. Excellent sani station. CP is free. Tapping water and / or using electricity costs three euros. There are two places close to the power column, the other three places are quite far away. Val-et-Châtillon is an old village with a lot of history. You don't see much of that. The village now makes a very poor impression. No shops, no restaurant.

Actually it is a 'France Passion' place, and then it is normal that you report to the owner and ask if you can stay overnight. The very determined lady of the Weinschenke notes your data and immediately asks what time you want to eat and tells you the possibilities to buy wine. You are very nice and in the 'cherry season' you can pick quite delicious cherries from cherry trees nearby.

A pleasant and peaceful campsite. Sanitary is crystal clear. WiFi throughout the site. The campsite is close to the 'voie verte'. This 'voie verte' is an asphalted former railway track, so it is easy to cycle. We were there at a quarter to twelve: barrier and reception closed, only opened again at 2 p.m. Large supermarket is within cycling distance.

The campsite is beautiful, the sanitary facilities are neat and modern. No possibility to discharge gray water. Not suitable for larger campers: small places, which are very skewed. We couldn't get the camper straight even with blocks. For a camper with two people, 25 euros per night was asked. Camping presents itself as ecological, so shoot there that it almost becomes a caricature.

Very peaceful, beautiful environment. When we were there, there were a total of three campers. The hotel has 'Ruhetag' on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Camper spot is located just outside the town in a quiet place. The Schwarzwald Panorama-Radweg runs right past the motorhome site. Waldshut is a nice town to visit. The town of Lauchringen resembles an industrial area with residential houses here and there. Two large supermarkets within walking distance of the camper place. Sani station is fine.

Nice and calm. Except for dustbin, no facilities. But yes if you want it, you have to go to a campsite. Camper spot is located in a park that looks neat. Like in many places in Germany, no mobile internet. It is therefore not possible to digitally plan your cycling or walking route. Small supermarket, some butchers and bakery in the - rather boring - village.

Secret place. Located afterwards. Four spots on a small surface. Strange types wander around. We were there at 10.30am and had a coffee to discuss whether we would stay here and go cycling, when 5 young men came to take a closer look. They turned around when they saw that one of the 2 campers was inhabited. We did not visit Calw further and left.

Very quiet and very friendly reception. A lot of space. Electricity costs 50 cents per kWh, 100 liters of water costs 1 euro, you can also choose less liters and pay less. Discharging gray water and toilet is free. There is a nice farm shop. Guided tours of the farm are possible on request.

Very friendly owner. The sanitary block was closed due to Corona measures. Everything neat. Great cycling area. When registering, the owner indicated that he could pick you up or bring another bicycle if the tire was flat. Excellent internet.

A peaceful campsite located against the Fochteloërveen nature reserve. Due to the Corona measures, the sanitary facilities could not be used. Warm welcome and very helpful camping owners. Very nice cycling area. Definitely a campsite to return to.

Campsite in a quiet location. Friendly managers. We were here for four nights in early November. Almost extinct, according to the manager it is busy in the summer. Bakery and small supermarket are within walking distance. Plumbing is very clean. The sanitary block is heated during the cold period.

Badly maintained. Not mowed for a long time. The payment machine at the camper section was broken. The restaurant looked permanently closed. The entire camper site exudes decay. Unfortunately, I have come across many of these expired places in recent years. The whole of Germany appears to be in decline: bad roads, unpaved walking paths and markings, collapsed benches, often not mobile internet.

Beautifully situated site. Because the middle section is kept free, you get the feeling of peace and space. The jovial owner should show more ambition to make more of his campsite. Everything works, but the decay has occurred. Whatever breaks, a piece of string is repaired. Reception is only near the reception. There is sandwich service.

Quiet and very well maintained campsite. The manager ensures in a pleasant and clear way that everything stays tidy. There is enough shade to avoid standing in the burning sun. Closing and unlocking the hassle with everything (entrance gate, sanitary facilities and space of waste containers) is getting used to. Internet on site works well.

It looks like a residential area: very tight and close together. With a camper and / or caravan combination you have to maneuver a lot to get to your place. And be careful not to hit a tree or number plate. Plumbing is neat. The pool makes a lot of noise, because of the "thump music" I first thought it was a disco. There is internet on the site, but that is not very stable. We left again after one day.

As fellow motor home owners already wrote: good restaurant, friendly welcome. Shops nearby. Busy road, but because you are next to / behind the hotel, you have absolutely no problems.

Child friendly. Everything well organized. Campsite is close to the sea. Village with supermarket is relatively close. Excellent (free) internet. Nice kitchen with induction hobs and two ovens. Electricity is calculated according to consumption. Sanitary is clean and everything works fine, but it is a bit dated. Walking and cycling opportunities.

Nice place. Friendly owners. Electricity against payment. We could use the shower for free.

Nice location. We were here at the end of March on the weekend. Tap to tap drinking water was shut off. The only way to get drinking water was the tap above the chemical toilet. Toilets are also used by passers-by and were dirty. The power poles at the motorhome were fully occupied by the connections of the boats that are placed in the extension of the CP

You are tucked away with your camper, apparently on the other side of the hedge is the storage of a contractor. A lot of material that the contractor finds a waste to throw away, but at the same time knows that he will never use those old things again. CP place makes a poor and sad impression. Facilities are all present and look good. We just drove on.

This is definitely no longer a CP. The facilities (toilet, water, discharge of chemical toilet and dirty water) are still there, but there are signs with 'forbidden to spend the night' and references to campsites around Ribe. You can park there to visit Ribe. You are close to the center.

During the day a lot of noise from the campsite and the way to the campsite. Very quiet place at night. Nice and dark at night. Only the displays of the power poles give some light. Pay at the vending machine on the camper place. You can only pay with coins. The manager of the campsite is not very informative.

Quiet in the green, small town with many restaurants is close by. You're pretty much on the 'Bahnradweg Hessen'. Interesting to walk around in the town. Overnight ticket for sale at the local service station and the VVV.

Good, quiet place. Separate place for campers on the parking lot of the Freizeit Center. Electricity against payment (coin-operated), discharge of 'gray water' for free, water taps and chemical toilet discharge against payment. Sani station 100 meters further.

On the other side of the campervan trucks tankers regularly, who empty the drainpits, unload their load. No smell, but a lot of noise. When we were there, the first tanker arrived at 06.00. At least you wake up early to go to the pleasant center. Sanitary is fine. All day walking and cycling people close to your car, so do not open a window.

Fine, sheltered place with excellent and clean bathrooms. Unfortunately, there is no possibility for emptying toilet and running away the waste water. The coastal path to Lohals starts at the marina. We were two nights here in mid-September. Shop was closed. The restaurant was open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Shopping possibilities in Snøde (4 km). Many cycling opportunities from the marina.

We were there on 10 September. Extraordinarily uninspiring place: on the main road, overlooking a parking lot. No place to stay.

Quiet campsite. Good and clean bathrooms. Spacious places. When we were there, it was no weather to sit in the sun. Unfortunately, there is no information about cycling or walking routes. There is no information about the nearby castle ruin. If we had cycling or walking, we certainly stayed longer on this excellent campsite.

Prima motorhome. Drinking water, running away dirty water and emptying chemical toilet at no cost. There is no barrier. It is unfortunate that a humming sound comes from a nearby hall. Near the river Tagus a bar with terrace and interesting information about archaeological excavations (also in English). Symbols for cycling and walking route. Too bad about that 'ground'brom.

This place is absolutely worthy of its high rating. Warm welcome. Interested and helpful. Elly and Geert know how to bind the people without being crunchy. Free sandwiches every day (including Sundays). Excellent internet. Find ten euros per night on the cheap side.

After traveling around Portugal for six weeks, we looked for a pleasant and comfortable campsite to stay for another week. The positive reviews of this site were expected, but unfortunately: uninterested manager, limited sanitation, free internet for which you had to sit next to the router. Camping has a beautiful location. After a night left again.
