Serene and unique location with lovely helpful hosts and four-legged friends. We enjoyed some beautiful walks in the countryside as recommended by Pauline and the town itself was a joy to be in - friendly, tidy, historic and with good bars and artisan shops. We also stopped by the local cooperative tienda where we were able to get some bits and pieces to help us fix a problem with the van. Thank you to Maxim, Pauline, Drago and Jarafuel x

Excellent secure facility with shaded parking for easy visit to València. Jose is an absolutely superb host. We booked for one night and ended up staying for three. Reviews have mentioned noise at night - we were not aware or affected and slept very well 🤷🏻

Just brilliant. A fab welcome from Meike and great facilities all at a very reasonable price. We drove to the nearby hill (Tap O Noth) and had a lovely walk up to spectacular views.

Great location on the pier next to the sauna. Lovely for a swim. Also nice walks on the old roads in amongst the cherry, plum and apple orchards. Toilet is basic but functional. Owner very welcoming and helpful - he also runs the small shop which is very well stocked. Note that the price is 200 NOK and extra 100 NOK for electricity. Campercontact please update

There are now 4 parking spaces for campers at the top car park and 10 at the bottom - and there are good clean toilets at both locations. Both perfect places to overnight at Vøringfossen. note that both of the camper contact locations relate to the upper parking - you will see the lower parking on the way up anyway.

Just fabulous. Lose yourself in the myriad of second-hand book stores. Also an easy cycle alone to the Glacier museum which is worth a look.

Lovely little site beside an excellent bar and restaurant. Good grocery store and some nice local walks. note that it is now 400 NOK for the night plus 50 NOK for electricity, which is on the steep side.

Great area to stop overnight. There were several vans here and it felt very safe and the facilities are quite new. Tapas at El Albergue was excellent. 45 minute walk to magical “Saltó de la novia” waterfall where we had an amazing dip. well done Cirat
