The campsite is beautiful. Certainly not cheap. Almost 65 euros per night for two people and a dog. De Koog and Den Burg are easily accessible by bike. You're also close to the beach bars. These beach bars are increasingly developing into decadent restaurants with prices to match.

Very nice harbor masters! Nice place to stay. You can walk straight into the town. Bring water, because loading water is difficult via the paid taps on the jetties. Tip: in the sanitary area there is a tap on the wall where you can fill your watering can if you have a piece of hose with you. We paid over 21 euros per night for 2 people, 1 dog and electricity. Plus 1 euro for the excellent shower. It is kept clean.

Also stayed here in 2024. Great campsite. Simple sanitary facilities. Simple (and affordable) menu from 5 p.m. We even paid a euro less for the campsite than last year. Now 16 euros for 2 people, 1 dog and electricity.

were at the animal pasture. Disgraceful how they treat the animals. Chickens, ducks and geese locked up until 13:45 in a wooden night shelter without water in the burning sun. Freed the animals themselves and gave them clean water. "Sorry, forgot" they said. The goats had a drinking trough with green sludge. Making a reservation by phone was a disaster. The website said there was room but their helpdesk said "complete". Only succeeded after calling 3 times. 1 star due to animal abuse

a quiet campsite on a river. Friendly campsite owner. We didn't need the restaurant for dinner, because it was fully booked for two evenings. Showers and toilets certainly not the newest. Shower is nice. Too few showers and toilets for this campsite. At eight in the morning you are woken up by the loud ringing of the church bells nearby. You can cycle here well. People regularly cycle past and use the terrace. Approx € 15 per night

Stayed here two years ago. Came back because it is such a nice place. Sanitary facilities perfect, everything has been thought of. Wash basins and dishwashing sinks at different heights. Great! The village itself is nothing special. Just a few days of quiet on the beautifully landscaped campsite. There is a (simple) take away between 18:30 and 19:30. Super nice view! Choose your own spot, nothing is 100% level. Sanitary simple and clean. Shower fine. Very quiet except for a dog barking in the distance and the church tower. Village has a bakery (open 6.15 am and closed on Tuesdays) and a small supermarket. Everything within 5 minutes walking. Not all power sockets work. So a bit of searching. This place is recommended. No money collector seen from 3 pm to 10.15 am in the morning.

Nicely laid out campsite with height differences. Places fairly straight. Friendly staff. Only wifi at reception. Right on the beach. The catering there is expensive and limited in supply. Only snacks, no meals. Sanitary facilities clean. Showers just not warm enough. The drain is in the middle shower. The water (or worse) from the neighbour runs over your slippers. Paid with ACSI more than 15 euros per night.

nicely laid out. Difficult to find a good spot between the trees, elevations and tree trunks that are everywhere. Watch out for the tree trunks when driving in and out! Due to the height differences, our rear bumper got caught behind a trunk of a few cm high: broken! Nice shopping center a few hundred meters away. Don't bring your dog, because it will get covered in nasty tangles! Small spot 23 euros, large 28.50 with ACSI. Swimming pool is nice. Sanitary ok. Staff ok. Bread in camping shop way too expensive. Do NOT eat in Pastelaria Doce Mar in the village. Outrageous what they dare to serve you and rude staff. A lot of construction is going on in the village. It is very uninviting and on the front part of the campsite you hear some of that in terms of noise. No free WiFi.

Nice campsite, but the places are much too small. Our place just fit a 7 meter camper with the awning out. Restaurant is fine (closed on Mondays). Nice swimming pool. We paid 23 euros per night, 2 p plus 1 dog and electricity. You get 10% discount with ACSI or other camping card. Small campers and tents can be placed under a sunshade in the shade. Sanitary facilities are clean, no toilet paper. Spar at 800 meters.

nice camper spot. Stayed for three nights for 53.50 incl electricity. Fantastic view. Very clean. Dutch owners. Ask the owner where you can eat well. She gives good tips. The driveway to the top is a bit steep, but doable. With a caravan it is tricky to drive up, we have seen. It worked with a lot of wheelspin. But for a camper it is no problem

Friendly reception. We paid over 28 euros including electricity. We were on the base site. It is currently a bit of a mess because permanent residents have to break down. Sanitary facilities are clean. If more people shower, the jet quickly becomes less. Surroundings are not great. Close to the highway. No nuisance from it. Restaurant good and not expensive (curry chicken and vegetable lasagna), also take away. Extensive shop is nice. Access via high tunnel.

Cosy? No. Good to visit Valencia. You are safe and often under a nice canopy. Showers and toilets fine. Cheap fuel at the end of the road (1.21 diesel). There are a lot of sounds to hear from airplanes, the road and a factory. If you can deal with that, it is a fine place. We paid 20 euros per night.

Very clean. Real Benidorm campsite. Many mobility scooters. Every now and then someone with holladijee music that the neighbours can “enjoy”. Where you can walk the dog is a mystery to us. No grass/forest nearby. The reception insisted on having a copy of the passports. Copy of ID from the government refused because they did not understand that. So we had a copy made with a covered passport photo. 23 euros with ACSi per night.

camping is nicely situated. Sanitary facilities are modest and reasonably clean. Noisy though. Toilets without seats are still a makeshift solution. Restaurant is simple and we didn't think it was that good. Sand in the lettuce and small portions. Hamburger consists of a bun with 4 chicken nuggets, a slice of cheese and a slice of bacon. It has that level.

nice camper place and, as others also reported, super sanitary facilities. That is in the basement via two stairs. If you can't climb stairs, you have a problem. Large nice space to watch TV or read. Electricity according to consumption. A tricky system though. First purchase via the machine is 2 kw for 1.50. The next purchases are in steps of 3 euros. What you don't use, you lose. For 1 night it quickly costs 27.50 or more than 30.

nice spot at the harbor. Entrance and exit via one narrow road. Turn along the water to be in a good position with the exit of the camper. If it is full, turning is very difficult. Or you have to reverse out of the camper place via the only road. So first check if there is a spot before you drive in. The price is reasonable (18 euros). Nice shopping street and restaurants around the corner. 2 supermarkets nearby. You can walk there.

very nice place. Everything nice and clean. Soap, toilet paper, large shower for the whole family. 8 minutes shower for 3 euros. You can see on the website how many places are currently available. Easy! Card system works well. At the power boxes you can register for electricity with the card.

Camping >200 places and then only 3 sinks are too few. Nice sanitary facilities, partly accessible via a long staircase. Access bridge to the campsite fits 1 camper in terms of width. ACSI price 27 euros plus 7 euros in extras Total 34 euros per night for 2 p. Few places have a view of the Moselle. A nonsensical system of passes to open the sanitary facilities. Half a day in the noise of motor brush cutters. They also have those things electric!

nice and clean campsite with friendly owners. Stayed with great pleasure. Recommended! The only points of criticism are that you often have to press the button of the shower and that you have to do the electricity with coins while that should actually be in the ACSI rate. You can walk nicely in nature and it is a short walk to the town of Saarburg. Do not eat at the Schlossberg brasserie next to the waterfall. Very bad.

a campsite with two faces. Fairly new toilet block and on the other side a campsite where old caravans and built-on cubicles are also located. Too expensive for what is offered, 32 euros (2 p, 1 dog and electricity) for a muddy spot with a view of rubbish and a chemical toilet dump right behind the camper. Old washing machines and a dryer that does not dry properly. Toilet block not very clean. Swimming pool is not much.

Neat campsite. Big difference in price whether you take a standard place or a slightly larger place with a garden bench. The standard seat is fine and cost 21 euros and the larger seat 37, both with ACSI. The restaurant on the campsite is good. Limited choice. The Chambord castle 5 km away was disappointing to us. Very large, but a bare mess inside with collected furniture and a lot of repro material. Entrance costs 16 euros per person.

What a beautifully landscaped and maintained campsite! You rarely find it that way. Unfortunately, there is nothing to do in the village. You will have to go to Poitiers for that. Camping has many places that are crooked. Nice toilet block where relatively many showers and toilets are locked, despite the fact that there are already quite a few people on the campsite. Showers are fine. With ACSI, the electricity is free. We paid more than 21 euros per night (2 p). For large motorhomes it is good aim. Easy to do with 7 meters. A 10-minute walk from a beautiful beach where surfers are active.

stood for four days. hot water broken on the third night. No one from the campsite available. grounds not well maintained. On a busy road where you can't actually walk. Quiet at night. Bus to Bordeaux only runs until 8.15 in the morning and then again in the afternoon. the last one returns at 7:15 PM. When it rains, some places are too muddy.

A super place to spend the night for little money. Two people including electricity, 2 baguettes, 2 croissants for over 17 euros. What a nice manager of the campsite! Showers and toilets are outdated but usable.

great spot. stood for two days. had to move for the second night. turned out not to be necessary. the very friendly and helpful harbor master apparently does not fully understand the reservation system. Neatly clean and tidy everything. You walk right into the old center. Tip: if you arrive late (after 6 p.m.), ask for the door code for the shower and toilet room. We had to ask other motor home owners.

Simple Camperplace with the necessary amenities, beautifully situated directly on the Tjeukemeer. A nice bike path along the lake. A cozy eatery with normal prices nearby.

A real city campsite. You're on top of each other. The facilities are very good and clean. Great to stay overnight and then move on. Navigation had a bit of trouble (“turn around”) to find it. Difficult that you can't leave the site late at night off to walk the dog. The gates are closed.

You are beautifully situated on a large field on the Weser. Pick your own place. Showers and toilets are clean but it is old stuff. The sinks and urinals are very low. When you are taking a shower, the light will soon go out (sensor controlled). No trash cans on site and in the washing up area. That is very difficult. In terms of facilities, we found it too expensive, but the location is worth it. Mittagsruhe (yuck!) is until 2.30 pm

You look beautiful. You drive over terrible boulders to get there. Spacious pitches with electricity via the meter. Excellent facilities through the restaurant. Toilet free, shower 2 euros, water drawers 70 cents. You can simply put your waste in the container. Costs nothing. Friendly harbor master who does his round at 18.00. Wittenberge is just a poor town with shops that are not worth the effort. Very unsociable.

Nice place. Narrow pitches. The lady owner is nice as long as you pay, but with a small complaint she turns like a leaf on the tree and becomes downright rude. Tip: don't eat in "Skipperstreff" (cafeteria quality) but just walk into the village. Rest is located at Elbestrasse 82. "Schiffersborse". Much better, more extensive and tastier than at the harbor and only slightly more expensive. And they have a nice terrace with a view of Elbe.

ideal for visiting Copenhagen. Friendly staff. It is now called "Hundige Strand family campsite". Tip for a visit to Copenhagen: take the train and stay until Østerport station. You are then close to the mermaid and you walk from north to south. First visit the Amaliënborg and the Rosenborg including a beautiful park. In the end you can go back to Hundige station at Copenhagen Central, a 15-minute walk from the campsite

nice campsite along a busy road (during the day). The manageress Angelika speaks reasonably good Dutch. She keeps things very clean and always has a chat and a joke. There is a nice, super neat little kitchen with tables and chairs. Shower goes with 5 Kr per 2 minutes and only with clean bath slippers. Highly recommended for 1 or a few nights. Advice: just email for a spot and you will have a quick answer. The e-mail can simply be in Dutch.
