Fantastic campsite with all the amenities you need for a peaceful holiday. We spent two nights with our campervan from August 5th to 8th. The facilities were clean and everything worked perfectly. Separate showers and toilets for men and women. Electricity and water are available at each pitch. We recommend requesting campervan cards when booking. We discovered during our stay that it's also an SVR and ACSI campsite, and of course, you can contact us through the NKC.

pleasant and always accessible campground ideal for tunnel or ferry crossing to get the timing right and minimise the fares. always a good spot, book but are always welcome, plenty of space, sanitary facilities basic but clean and warm, plenty of amenities for both genders even when full, with three blocks. rates have increased but site has been upgraded and cleaned up.

site is not particularly cared for, lawn mowers broken down and left in the spot where it died. pitches were hardstand made from demolition rubble, bricks, tiles, empty kitchen containers etc. power had to be borrowed from next pitch as the cable seemed to be damaged. sanitary facilities were all electric and they worked well, bur buildings and quality of buildings were made from recycled corrugated iron, and other materials looking haphazardly.

great site with water and power on level pitches with great sanitary facilities seperate for each gender. washing up and laundry facilities clean and serviced regularly. great taxi service into York centre, better than struggling to get a camper into height limiting car parks.

great site wish earlier reviews were more helpful, good pitches, with power, water and grey and black disposal points easy to use, good set of showers 5 x per gender, male ones a bit chilly at about 20 degrees, good clean set of toilets and laundry facilities. good location for Hexham and hadrians wall visit.

great site with good pitches with power on each pitch, not quite level but sorted with moving gravel around a bit. good location to discover Northumbria, can visit Berwick itself, lindisfarn, and bamburgh castle, and down to alnmouth via the coastal road, (bit bumpy) sanitary facilities excellent plenty of showers 5 x per gender. great set up. security code access can be a bit nerve racking at night.

spent two nights at this campground to discover the Dumfries Galloway area, pitches are good with power supply at each pitch. access is good via main road north from Dumfries, Tesco extra, aldi nearby (2 km) mainly chalets as is the practice in the UK unfortunately. Showers and toilet provided clean and serviced regularly. only one shower for all the pitches available, two toilets (one in the shower) and the spare room could add 4 more showers.

pitches good with water and power on level gravel pitch with long ride up 10 meters deep and grass patch next door, awning allowed. sanitary facilities are unacceptable with one shower and toilets per gender, and loose tiles with grey water sloshing in and out. location is ok with train station nearby to enable walking hadrians wall.

service good, atmosphere on camping strained, was warned of theft potential especially E-bikes, had a secure lock up you can use for free, warned not to leave the bikes on the back of the camper. ablution blocks clean and separated, very clean.

very good location close to town about 2 km uphill walk or bike ride, very clean ablution block male / female separate, plenty of showers and toilets, very friendly service, small shop has most things for emergencies, including wine.

good travel through location, bus at stell platz entrance, pick your own spot, grab a bag from reception (unmanned) and gives you shower access, toilets are always open. pitches packed in but plenty of space had booked but no need in future.

great location and service, no fuss access, can only book comfort place, rest is first come first serve, sort out in the morning at check out, easy access via U Bahn 800 mtrs from camping, can use 24, 48, 72 hour tickets for seniors even to get into the city centre, train every 10 mins, easy to find and get in and out of the city in camper.

great site, good generous level pitches, find your own spot, sort out in the morning, ablution blocks well set out, male female toilets and showers. water and power a plenty. great walks along the lake. Town once was a gracious place it seems, but many buildings left to ruin pity, nice place on a wonderful lake

excellent service, arrived late on a booking for 3 nights (minimum) stayed only for one due to cold weather, nicely appointed campground, ablution block ok but unisex making for some uncomfortable situations, always better to have a separate block for male / female showers ok quick push button should be 1 min per push not 10 seconds. good spacious sites, careful with the tree branches on high campers.

great campground, accommodated without trouble without booking, nice pitches very wide 8 mtr length max, very clean ablution block. friendly staff, good shops nearby, bus into city at door, restaurant and bar on site very accommodating.

fantastic campground, perfect for short or longer term stay, friendly reception easily booked and communicated re change of dates in april this year. lovely spot directly on the Moselle river. close to town and great walking trails along the river. excellent restaurant, great food, arrived quite late but was accommodated on site no problem. nice solid grass pitches with power around two central ablution blocks, generous pitches. will visit again.

Excellent campground, easy booking system spent 2 nights in January 2024, cold clear days nicely sheltered behind the dunes, friendly helpful staff at reception, very good facilities clean warm showers, generous pitches, duckboards at each pitch so you don’t drag in sand into the camper. supermarkets near in Zoutelande, nice safe bike rides along coastal bike path.

stayed here three times in the past two months, excellent place to visit Amiens, walk or bike into town 4 km or take bus outside gate. good quality facilities, sites still a bit wet, but good sized access on solid ground, leaves front wheels on the bitumen then no problem. friendly service easy booking via internet or phone.

excellent location for walks and area visit, good sized pitches with power, facilities clean and plentiful hot hot water showers, friendly service, bread available short walk or via supermarket within 400 mtrs. lovely views over the bay, sheltered pitches by hedges.

excellent site for visiting Angers centre, can bike in or take the bus 200 mtrs from site entrance no 6 takes you to centre by the chateau. great deal from city a 24 hour access to all museums and transport for fixed price, excellent deal from tourist information. campsite nice pitches tapered but plenty of room 4 to 6 mtrs wide 12 mtrs deep with power at the road, fill up with water before parking up. very level sites, friendly service.

Very clean ablutions, it all worked well. Camper parking spacious easy to move in and out. WiFi was limited which can be improved easily. Bus into Groningen and back within 400 mtrs. Good city access.

Layout good, having grit on paths and parking spaces carries stones inside everywhere. Like the card system it all works very well for water, showers, toilet, at around 5 euros per day for two people. Annoying few showers, luckily few campers this time of the year being December, would not like to stay when over 50 campers, insufficient showers, toilets without soap, even soap left for campers rem
