no connection available for fresh water so had to use canisters to refill tank. otherwise site as stated.

Beware you cannot drive into or through the town. This is a town council decree. There is a barrier and guard post preventing you from doing so. But great views. Only stopped for a brief visit.

parked 1 night down the slope behind the store, very quiet, no passing traffic, except 2 buses going into the night garage at the top. shaded. didn’t use services as shown. store opens 7 days a week from 0830 to 2300 hrs.

probably the only place in the area with all these free facilities. a good spot but gets very full so maybe have to park down by the lakeside till a space becomes vacant. allowed 72 hrs but many people abuse this rule and unfortunately not enforced. a lovely fresh water lake and restaurant. all facilities working as of today.? picnic tables around the lake and lifeguard on duty. good cycling routes around. safe and level parking. recommended.

Large car park suitable for large camper vans. Next to a church, loud bells every hour, stops at 10pm, starts 6am !! Appears the whole town use this free car park with lots of comings and going’s. The usual suspects at night with boom boom cars. Just off a busy road but quiet at night. No services. Some shade. illuminated. A busy little town. Ok for 1 night as nothing else in the area to speak of.

Spent the day only and as soon as you arrive the warden runs over for your 8 euros, 2.50 euros in a car. Entry to Monastery is free, but beware the museum is 6 euros for everyone. So in all 2 persons would be 20 euros. Parking for camper vans is by coach park, but car park is more level. No shade, but bins and water supply by the entrance on right hand wall. Not a good view cos of high trees.

Had lunch only so can’t comment on hoodlums at night. black and grey dump with water and bins. level but no shade. good location, away from noisy town yet close for monastery and Polish cemetery.

very large level tarmac area. lorries with their generators running tend to park out the way. cafe open. waste bins. only had a break so don’t know about how quiet it would be at night.

good spot, I recommend. quieter than harbour in town.

On the harbour alone. no animals to feed, a shame. Village deserted now, all restaurants closed for refurbishment during winter. Nothing happening, maybe in summer better. Quiet and safe, water very clear and clean for swimming. Nice views. If approaching from the north be careful of road coming into village, narrow and potholed, but ok for 7.4m van. Ok for 1 night. Water tap with hose by statue on harbour front.

Only 3*, because no services other than rubbish disposal. but great location for the old town, minutes walk away. The whole harbour is split into different parking areas, there where lorries, cars, motorhomes everywhere, not confined to one area, so I don’t know how the police control this, having read comments about police visits. There was one area which forbid camping but elsewhere saw no prohibition signs. Just look around for a safe spot.

Passed this site on the way North and looked a bit sloping. Just off the main road.

ok for visiting small port with its many eateries, especially La Taverna To Perivoli. during the night cars arriving with ‘boom boom’ from radios. I think they do this to annoy us. water and shower switched off now. Room for 10 MH. watch out for sea urchins in water.

Excellent place, 4 nights here. only 2 other MH. MUST book ahead as very short of MH space as this is primarily a car park.

great location. minutes from small village. right on the beach. bar very close to picture. basketball court also close. water tap nearby. in season could be busy. but good for a night.

2 stars for availability in this city of a thousand cafes and eateries. Nowhere else to go. Very sloping everywhere, you sleep vertical ! 25 mins by no 10 bus costing 90cts one way. Many work trucks parking day and night. Playground right behind site, basketball etc. we stay 1 night then move on south to quieter place. Pity nowhere else to go for us travellers in this lovely city, but traffic - ugh, so bad and busy.

Stayed here during first French lockdown for 3 months with 5 other campers. Had a great time, eventually being able move around the area on bikes and trains to nearby cities. One of the few sites in the area for campers. English spoken. Would stay again if in the area. Busy road outside though.

stayed here 4 days in 2020. it is what it is, a typical, no frills location. visited now, jan 2022, on our way to Italy. Aire in the town not for us. Basic facilities and if you don’t want EHU ok, but if you do then 2 euros. one night 2 persons 6 euros, can’t fault that.

Flat and safe but could get muddy when it rains! 2 vans last night. Didnt use services as filled up last stop. Intermarch 200 metres. Ideal for 1 night, nice little town, market day Tuesday in the Halle. Couple of restaurants, pizza place and the usual suspects of course, bread etc., entry via Tourist office then down slight slope to rear of building.

Quiet at night. 2E for 20 minutes electric and water. grey water dump. next to an intersection of roads but not busy at night. narrow entry and exit but ok for my 7.4 metre MH. Level and hard standing.

Full of long stay ‘residents’. football field next door. didn’t stay, not felt safe, pity as town looked nice.

Just a small lay-by opposite a lake. didn’t stay. isolated.

As previously described, but great for visiting 5 towns. Has toilet and WC disposal. We where third in queue of 6 vans waiting at 3pm for entry. Luckily several vans left so all went in. Peaceful night and nice walk round new harbour next day. No shops close by so stock up before visit. Small bar on corner but didn’t frequent it. Would stay again. Be aware of timings for entry/exit.

Best place to stay for Lucca. 10 minute straight walk to centre and tourist office. free water. Barrier entry/exit collect ticket, pay on departure in machine. Gray water dump. wc dump not in operation. illuminated. Many vans September, felt safe and secure. Site off main road so park at bottom for quiet. Some shade with trees. 10euros for 24 hours. 3 stars for no WiFi, toilets , electric hook up or WC dump. But location great.

4 vans on our arrival. All as described previously. Didn’t require ramps though. Everything in the village closed when we arrived at 8pm ! A very quiet location and felt safe after previous site in Chambery. so for services you would have to arrive during daytime to obtain the Jetons for the services. .

Very large parking area by Mac Donald’s. Going from past reviews with noise and rowdy youths we decided to move on. We didn’t feel safe here. The town itself was so busy with traffic we felt it was dirty and scruffy so moved out to another town. Pity, as was looking forward to the visit.

7 stars, no shower, but has every thing else, Euro 10 to incl EHC. Flat, level and grassed area with shade if required. Takes 8/10 large MH’s with plenty of room to spread tables/chairs.etc. Small pension and restaurant next door (pay your money to). Supermarket 10 min walk. River across the road with cycle path . Highly recommended and would come again.

Great spot on the waterfront. Stayed 2 nights.Dedicated spaces for MH’s. Nothing for visitor to see in village except old houses. Euro 8 for night, free during day. Pay at adjacent tourist office which has a wash room and WC when open 0800 to 1800 hrs. A couple of decent eateries around and a few wine tasting establishments. If it had a water point 8 stars. Only rubbish bins. Very quiet at night .

Very quiet 4 dedicated spaces. But other car spaces if full available. No services except bin. Didn’t stay the night so missed the ‘bells’! 2 minutes to the river. Recommended if staying in this area.

2 good places right on the road but views of the Mosel. Garage and bratwurst stall 50 metres away. Got slight smell of drains.

Directly facing the Rhine, flat and safe. Dedicated spaces for 6 campers but where 10 tonight. Could get table/chairs out in front on grass. Ok it’s Euro15 for 24 hours but no services, but just enjoy the view and lovely town. Noise acceptable, slept well.

Like all sites down the Rhine-full. Good location for visit to lovely town. Moved down the road 100 metres, to paying camper park. Good location also, but no services. Confusing payment machine on pricing. Read it carefully.

As described. Entry gate narrow but my 2.3 metre wide MH ok. Excellent quiet location. No services, not even bins. But only good location in Basel to spend the night. Pity council can’t provide better place for MH. 8 dedicated places as shown on sign. Normally Euro9 but with covid the swimming hall is closed and barriers are raised, so FREE.

As described, wouldn’t sleep here, to noisy. Go to other site by swimming pool. Only redeeming feature here is no 34 bus to old city centre. Cost Swiss shilling 3.80 one way. That’s approx Euro3.50. No problem to cycle in as good cycle paths all the way. Loved the city.

Arrive during day cos after 1800 hrs the gate is closed and locked. Plenty of room for large MH’s. Plenty of EH connections and long hose pipe. Illuminated at night. Good camper shop and workshop. About 10 spaces on right hand side of building. But if in difficulty see persons in shop. Spent 1 night with 1 other. Quiet. Didn’t see or hear disco, but it was a Thursday. Thankyou KUHN.

Called in for ‘look see’ as passing. Awful place. Just a gravel car park. You pay whilst lorries park free next door. Give this a miss unless your desperate.

Central to town. Flat with water, grey and WC disposal. Cars also park here so could get noisy with coming and goings. Only 2 power outlets for whole site which is next to main road. Could get noisy. Free. We parked other side of town near swimming pool. Nicer and flat and 150 metres from Tapestry Museum.

Great location, all as previously reviewed. Just had lunch and moved on but perfect for night stop. Flat, stones ground with grass areas for tables etc.

Only good thing about this place is its proximity to the old town. Badly sloping, on a main road. Drove further up the road to Carrefour- where a dedicated area is set aside just for MH.

Would be 10 stars but no shower!! Fantastic place but only 4 electric points so get there early. Toilets, water but no discharge. Museum Euro 5 each, so interesting followed by prune tasting session , albeit only 1 of each type of prune. Good site, shaded and level everywhere. Quiet and safe, contribute Euro 3 in honestly box. Please don’t abuse.

With it being new location why couldn’t they built it on level ground !! Slightly sloping. Didn’t hear the barking dog !! Ok for the night.

Just a busy busy car park with the main road running through it, go to dedicated site across the river.

Location great for town visit. Take your earplugs for a good sleep, next to main road. Open concrete car park, no shade in main area but you could get lucky with lower area.

Although in the middle of nowhere we liked it. Swimming in the Mediterranean, what could be nicer.

Only benefit of staying here is 5 min walk to the walled town. No shade and Euro2 per hour-wow!! Also if sleeping beware of people watching you. We looked at this CP but decided to go to the AIRE Euro 15 where we felt safe, although no electric it wasn’t a hassle and a steady 15/20 minute walk to the town. Recommended and had 10 MH on site.

Why oh why do people NOT listen. Never EVER stop overnight on a French motorway. Sorry to hear these stories.

Perfect for local town, Intermarche across the road with fuel station- no GPL though! Quiet and safe. No toilets. Stone Hard standing. Tourist office closed on Tuesdays. Spent 2 nights, recommended.

Unfortunately had to spend one night as didn’t know about prohibition of motorhomes. Stocked up at Casino on food and fuel, no LPG though. Carried on up road to Digne for 300 metres to camping Halte Napoleon for 4 nights E6.50 . Electric E3.00. Lovely site

Good stopover. Old photo of service area. Now 3 new houses behind, hence previous comments about noise. Now peaceful. Nice village.

Although central for city, this park is now locked at 2030 hrs. Not allowed to sleep. No services. Opposite entrance there are no lines and if lucky can get a place. We did ! Much indication of broken windscreens, indicating unsafe area. Attendant 0800 to 1330 then no one to guard. Can park on blue lines outside for hourly rate E0.87 per hour and free after 2030 hours. On busy road and nosleep.

Stopped for lunch, just off the SS113 down on the shoreline. Plenty of areas to park. No restrictive signs. Very quiet.

Only points going for this site is the location, right on the seafront and historic town. You are not allowed to park on the blue and white lines may to October, which is free, as these are for residents only. Be warned, you will be fined like me. I know it’s expensive but it’s worth it to visit Cefalu. 3 large supermarkets around and other shops for your needs.

Agree with all previous reviews except water IS available on the main road by the square opposite the supermarket. Very slow flow though. Spent 3 nights with 3/4 other MH’s. No noise from youths, bikes or dogs. Would stay again . Bins around, though as usual always full. Don’t the refuse people every get out of bed !! Felt Very safe also.good restaurant also fantastic selection of ice creams.

Stayed 4 nights. Concur with all previous comments. Highly recommended. Had a fridge ‘issue’ which was solved in 90 minutes. Euro 50.

Car park taken over by large lorries and fishermen drying their nets out. Didn’t stay as probably get woken early. Don’t know if this is a regular occurrence.

Beware, only park at Porta Trapani car park, or via Porta spade CP. If you proceed up Viale conte pepoli to park, and there are spaces, you have to follow one way circuit out. I just made it by millimetres!

As described previously. Right hand water tap the fastest! On our own during the day, didn’t spend the night , to noisy on roads 2 sides of CP. plus several lurking people around. Suppose in summer very busy so ok to stay. Free and 20 minutes from old centre.

Parked 3 nights. Restaurant closed February. Very quiet, no barking dogs for a change. Airport nearby but didn’t present any problems. At least no parking ‘attendants’. Area at rear for larger Moho but usual rubbish everywhere, very bad. Felt safe and recommend. No services. Narrow slight incline from road but passable.

Safe for the night in public CP. Quiet at night despite close to main road. Water across the street, also good supermarket. 5/10 mins walk to fantastic historic Arab centre. All within walking distance.

Fantastic location, only let down by no water anywhere and I did search around .!! No trouble with noisy youths. Good value supermarket as stated. We stayed 4 nights over by small fishing boats next to church. Recommended. A good Lidl 1 km away coming from the west off the ss116.

As described previous reviews. I spent hour picking up rubbish and local person came and gave me glass of wine for my troubles !! Village completely deserted January. Stay with 6 other MH for 3 nights. Safe and quiet for a change. Lovely beach area. No shops open so bring your supplies.

Stayed 1night with other MH. This CP also main CP for lovely long sandy beach 150 metres away. Everything closed except large hotel . Well lit area but no services. Ok for a night. Dogs around but seem friendly -wagging tails- but be careful, at least not barking. Much, much rubbish in this area but not so on other beach.

Only spent day here but could see the attraction for the noisy youths. Large flat area to ride their bikes/cars around and long straight Avenue to approach the place for the boy racers. Shame . Clean by Sicilian standards with cafe and plenty of trash bins.

Good stopover couple of days. Barriers raised in low season but cheap anyway in season. Supermarket with free toilets. Laundry on site. Nice yachting marina. Quiet and clean by past standards. No barking dogs for a change felt safe also. Nice restaurants in town 5 mins walk. Lovely castle overlooking town. Definitely recommended. Plenty of space in CP on hard gravel ground., which is level.

Agree with all reviews-a complete mess. Even the large bins have gone now. Didn’t feel safe either so moved to the lower car park with views over the countryside. Water fountain still working though.

Very large hard standing area. Nothing open, no services. December so all switched off. We moved on to large town of Pozzello and stayed on the seafront N.36722641, E014.837855. Over looking sea with bar and food available. No services. Handy for the town.

Old photos showing. New built WC/showers at entrance. But I suspect for beach goers, but closed December. Bins at entrance . Moho area marked out 150 on left hand side and please reverse in so other Moho can fit in space. Hard surface and across the road is the sea. Town centre 500 metres walk with coffee/bread/cake shops on the way. Busy town. I like it. Only cars and Moho allowed in site.

Went on a sunny clear day and went ‘to the top’ as far as allowed. CP was empty. About 12 Electric points where Moho normally park. Everything closed at night, just have a good sleep and payEuro 12 the next day to explore the area.

Visited site today on our Etna trip and found only water tap, nothing else there. Wouldn’t use bbq, needs a good clean first. Was once a camp site but perhaps the narrow approach roads and bridge put people off. My 2.3 MH made it . It’s free, the town itself nothing special.

Unless you need to see this place which must have had millions spent on a promenade going nowhere and a ridiculous Hugh paved square, move on. Parked in bays along the Lusual rubbish roads with constant traffic.

Spent 1 night, felt safe, only MH in CP. yes it could get noisy cos small football pitch 50 meters away which attracts all the kids. Refilling of bottles by locals not really a concern. Do not drive into old city. Walk, only 5 mins through tunnel. Then see cathedral and museum next door. I think in summer very busy. No noisy bikes this time but I think because of winter all keep away.!

Not open now. But at end of new tarmac road you drive into a pebbled area and park 5 metres from the sea. Nothing here except the view of the ocean.

2 nights here. Large CP at main bus station. Toilets next to ticket office. E2 a day ! From ticket machine. 15 mins steady walk to centre. No shade. Very busy at 0530 with long distance buses departing and again at 0800 with parents parking to drop kids off to school then repeated at 1630. But visited all other sites in Lecce and this is the one I recommend. 2 fast food units either end of CP

Next to stadium and also a thoroughfare. Busy all day not sure of night stop cos moved on, pity cos looks a nice town. many spaces in side streets but again didn’t stop. Payment required 60 cents per hour. Free on Sundays.

Ok so it’s expensive but you can stay shorter periods if just only to see the Trulli . Stayed 1 night on level pitch but yes there are many sloping ones too.WiFi free but have to pay 50 cents to empty chemical toilet. All previous reviews relevant regarding location, prices etc.

7 stars because no WiFi unless within 50 metres of reception. No grey waste disposal, so use a bucket. Use a watering can to fill fresh water! Town very old and history told in the fort on the hill (10/15 min walk. Supermarket 200 metres away and 2 banks close by to exchange any money. Used the camp restaurant. Good choice and 10 per cent discount . Below a high cliff next to road but no bother l
