A wide variety of deciduous trees and songbirds. The fortified town within walking distance is worth a visit; it's not touristy. There are few restaurants and cafes, just one restaurant and a Bar Tabac. The campsite itself is spacious, but entering with a Passe de Etapes card can be a bit tricky. You can pay per night, but the terminal starts with a €50 credit that you can add or subtract. Water, electricity, and Wi-Fi are included. The road was quiet on weekends, probably busier on weekdays.

We're standing with three German neighbors at the edge of the old Stellplatz. As one neighbor says in "No Man's Land." He's been there for three nights without being checked, so we're taking our chances. The electricity poles are out of order, as is the parking meter. No parking permits. The thermal baths were hit by the floods and then expertly demolished by vandals. It's part of the reconstruction projects here, but we're not seeing much activity.

Well, it's starting to look more and more like a campsite; many people are making themselves at home for extended stays. It's great to park your car next to your campervan, trailer tent, or caravan. Music at full volume, everyone can join in the fun. A great mix with the racing motorcycles and GTI hooligans on the ring road. Our last time here.

Sign at the entrance says Ver- en Entsorgung so you can also empty your cassette toilet in the existing pit. At the water column with coins there are hoses so it looks like you can take water now in the summer

With your bank card you pay 10 per night at the parking meter. With the Easyparc app 11.50 per night, quite a difference. Excellent CP otherwise we have been here more often. 3 x 24 hours costs you 26 euros, a discount of 4 euros.

Update: 2 electricity and a clean water column that work on coins and debit cards installed, 8 electricity connections, no waste pit seen. 6 gravel spots, when will the fences be removed ;-)

Well, the price is now 14 euros for a dusty sand plain, there are places with shade for the sun avoiders. Enough has been written about the historical setting of the Nazi training center and later Belgian barracks. There is a Bistro with a fantastic panoramic terrace (lunch only) and indoor pool for 5 euros. Swimming in the reservoir is not possible.

We arrived, all (small narrow) spots occupied by cars. I think you are not allowed to stand across the car spots so the caravan moves on... The Freibad looked very attractive though!

Now during the holiday period the mixed parking is quiet, I don't think we would have spent the night here out of season. Outdoor pool in front of the door 4 euros pp. The center is nice with some shops and restaurants, good for a night. Our 6.67 m camper just fit within the lines.

Entrance still blocked with gates but site is now leveled and partly asphalted, in the middle a 'fountain' of cables from the ground, could be a professional camper place in the making...?

The CP entrance is now closed with 3 enormous concrete blocks, probably to keep out Irish travelers until the start of the new season?

The large parking lot is two-thirds finished, but the camper place on the right is full of mountains of sand and digging equipment and a shovel blocks the road to the meadow on the left where you could park. So please be patient....

Water intake 50 ct, discharge pit open for gray water and cassette toilet, power points closed with locks, see photo. No information board with prices, seems to have become free?

Agree with the previous reviews, on a hot day a lot of crowds on the P and on the field near the outdoor pool, not overnight.

The main road is quiet, but there is sometimes a lot of speed. Recommended for families, robust safe play equipment within walking distance with even a cable car. Places is also used as a dog walk so be careful where you stand of the three places. Good for a night, center is nice but not special with the usual restaurants and chain stores.

Our bank cards do not work with the machine, so pay via the Easyparc app. Main road now busier than usual due to road works at the petrol stations. Remains a nice CP with a nice center within walking distance.

Gate closes but not locked so you can drive in and out at any time. Place looks a bit messy, friendly managers, good sanitary facilities, good value for money. Some nuisance from buzzing industrial processes, quiet at night. Düren town nothing special unless you like shopping.

Excellent cp for a few nights despite the football canteen with professional sound system. Town not special. Friendly help at the Kläranlage at 4.2 km by young man, immediately after the entrance pour down to the right, open large cover plates, gray water is allowed on the grid channel.

Still closed with gates, could be a good spot in itself near the center and shops.

Not for campers with a fear of contamination in April/May when the oaks are blooming, black seed on your camper, garden chairs and table. Ideal during a high summer heat wave I think. On/off app easy to use and the reminder that your staged action is running is handy because I forgot to end it. So you are in a mixed parking lot driving back and forth from terrace, bathing and camping guests at the weekend when the weather is nice. Quiet at night.

Nice place if you want to sleep peacefully. Surrounded by greenery, you will be woken up at 8 o'clock by the bellowing double-muscled cows.

Nice camper place between the beautiful flower beds. 2 spots even have their own picnic table! Very quiet, nice town with restaurant and small grocery. Playgrounds a little further.

Made a stop for photos and information about this service place. You can also pay with a Pass'Etapes card, rate on their website indicated €5, but the terminal itself €5.50? Nice spot on a canal. Old boss immediately came to report that the place was not for campers, it would be further up the gravel. Don't want his view blocked I guess. No traffic signs that indicate anything, but 3 long places under the weeping willow

Huissen has a nice center with many restaurants and shops. Overnight in a mixed parking lot quiet, on Sunday a lot of known recreational traffic with decibels. We were there with 7 other campers, no active enforcement.

Thank you municipality of Duiven, that's how you should set up a motorhome; 2 spacious transverse sections far from the main road on a lawn bordered by trees, great!

CP still closed with a concrete block, the website of the municipality states that it 'zur Zeit' is closed, will open again one day....

Indeed, a beautiful green camper place with peace and space. However, arriving in the evening is a puzzle tour where to go, little to no relief. Price is 12.40 for one night and was told on departure that we could not discharge? Changes passed on. Unfortunately, price quality ratio is therefore insufficient.

Excellent CP with all-in price for care and water, good price-quality ratio. Planting some more greenery would make it more inviting. Old center is charming, has several cafes and restaurants. There is a Netto and Edeka within walking distance. ParkNow app starts with 3-day action, make sure you manually set 24 hours or less if you stay overnight. Administrator would inquire with app builder.

Well, it's nice that there are free camper pitches like this one, but set them up in a quieter place. The clinker paving makes it clear that every car will enter. Quiet at night. Nice center. The former church is now used as a multifunctional center with daytime activities for the disabled, workplaces, etc. There is a men's, women's and disabled toilet.

Last weekend stood for the third time in years, nice CP with greenery all around and nice walking along the Dommel. The center of Oedenrode is lively, beautiful and cozy

Saturday afternoon, 3 ladies of the tourist office / library know nothing about a stamp / proof that you have registered outside of visiting hours of the town hall, so you save the effort. Lively village with many shops and restaurants. Lots of old greenery around mansions, chapels, monasteries and churches and along the Aa. Passantenhaven would indeed be a better place for a CP with less through traffic and a better view.

Nice CP in quietest part mixed parking partly under trees with power column with 6 and for the 8 places (50 cents per kWh) and sani column for cassette toilet and gray water (hose or bucket). Also draw water with small coins, 10 liters per 10 cents. Near the center with many shops, bakeries and restaurants and of course the beautiful baroque castle of Ahaus.

Swimming pool is open again, reasonably busy in the parking lot, but a lot of space on the camper side. Had a very quiet night, terrain bordered by many tall trees on the border of built-up area Bocholt. Telephone / data reception difficult. Sani column 1 euro for 72 liters of water or 5 minutes discharge.

We have been here for 2 nights to your complete satisfaction, you can find your own place, it is not so raked and regulated. We think the tariff is fine, if you arrive in the morning you stand until 7:00 the next day for 7.50, WiFi signal is good, electricity 1 euro for 2 kWH and you can discharge and draw water. Manager is correct and changes money on request. Kalkar is a beautiful town

As previous reviews mention, nice place under deciduous trees, but too much noise from traffic during the day for us. It will be easy at night.

Restaurant and toilet facilities were closed years ago, is really only for emergencies if you risk falling asleep behind the wheel.

CP is again open to the public but 'taken over' by English travelers with 20+ mega caravans, making it look more like a campsite. We drove to Goch. Remains a great place near the beautiful town of Kranenburg, shopping center 500 meters with Aldi, drugstore, shoe store, Imbiss etc.

Notwithstanding the information on the website that only German residents are welcome at the CP in Corona time, there are many compatriots during a pleasant busy Pentecost weekend.

We are with 14 campers spread over the parking lot and are reminded by 2 friendly ladies from Enforcement that there is official space for 2 campers and that 'staying' is prohibited outside the places. Do not know whether fines will be enforced actively.

We are here for the fourth time in a number of years. Like everyone, we enjoy the fantastic view over the floodplains, you can enjoy walking and cycling in the area and Wageningen is a very intimate and cozy town with friendly people and a young vibe by all students. And yes indeed during the day, search for earplugs in or just enjoy elsewhere, because building the Netherlands is supplied with gravel and pebble.

Been here mid-July for lunch. Despite the natural beauty of the fens, for us a somewhat 'deadly' place with that sandy plain and the absence of fellow camper. Will be nice and quiet during the day and at night because D-way is remote and not a main artery.

Simple place on asphalt behind the factory that is no longer a factory. Perhaps less suitable at high temperatures. At night quietly on the air conditioning after which 2 minutes monotonously rumbling. Barse boss comes to see if you color in between the lines, otherwise it will be corrected.

Fantastic place, beautiful places right on the beautiful nature reserve, quiet at night. WC simple but clean.

Do not attempt to climb to the Fort from Liouville itself, as that is a very steep climb that ends in a rocky path, bad for your tires and soil. Via St. Aignant you can also do a hotteknotse gravel road (1.5 km). Spending the night alone for those who do not know all the possible scenarios of crime series. Overgrown Fort, engulfed by the forest is impressive.

We are here as the only ones from Easter Sunday to Monday. Lots of greenery and bird concerts. P-traffic on and off during the day, "quiet at night. Lutheran church wakes you up at a quarter past 9. Recreational lake with pedal boat rental, playground, Biergarten, etc. At 500m Jagdkrug restaurant with traditional menu.

CP with service station; water tap with push button, we could refuel 70 liters due to little pressure. Shops and Lidl within walking distance in the center. At night quiet, morning rush busy and audible

Reserved spots along the local road. At 75m la Tour Pinchée, artillery station disguised as a church that is crooked after incomplete sabotage at retreat Germans. Great walking in the nature reserve Platier de Oye dunes and fens with bird spotlights at 100m. Away is quiet thanks to civilized French who pass by with an appropriate speed. (cc for cc). Not overnight but seems quiet enough.

At the municipal campsite (opposite side) you can take 3 euros (chemical) discharge and drinking water. Fantastic dune area and beach nearby, Oye Plage. In the village 2 bakers. Super U at 2.2 km. Easy to do during the day and at night.

Mix-parking close to catering and beach. Reigning by localos who quarreled at the petanque spot and a boy who tried to shout his girlfriend to his senses for an hour. Street theater? WiFi signal near the VVV (Yes_WiFi) 2 hours free to use per session. As mentioned earlier, you can not be here July / August. Now quite busy in June (35 campers)

The electricity owls indeed have some fun; euro coins often fall through before a 'catch' and you get power. Grass and shrubs may be shorter, now the sign walked in parade over the campervree. Furthermore, nothing but praise for this CP, quiet at night and friendly atmosphere. Stadje is one of the picture books of Anton Pieck with the Burg and Bagno nearby.

Simple CP at rear Lidl on gray pebbled pasture on the Ruhr. Altstadt is worth a visit. Hang people of all kinds chillt on beer and tobacco, too busy with themselves to cause inconvenience. Very quiet at night

Even today we could only get away with art and flight work here; a combination of morning dew, ryegrass and river clay will make your tire profile dense and go slipping. 2 Mats and boards provided the necessary grip to get started and to reach high-speed solid ground. Nice, simple CP but be warned.

Simple, quiet CP with shadow spots near the center and large supermarket. At the cruise center there is also a good (child-friendly) pizza tent with a nice terrace

Delicious, calm CP with friendly administrators. Spacious private spots for a competitive price. Beautiful surroundings. If the sanitary ware is off and wifi working, a 9 or 10!

We spent 4 nights here with a lot of fun. Ribeauvillé within walking distance (15 min). Toilet building dated and moderately kept. Lovely between the green on a brook, continuous road not really busy or disturbing. Charming receptionist said this might be last season so best camperers visit this beautiful place! Flot Blue column offers water and discharge for 2 Euro 10 minutes.

Nice CP as mentioned before. It is very hot at higher temperatures due to all asphalt and lack of shadow. Belfort is famous for its name: a beautiful fortified city with cozy, lively squares with a high quality horeca.

Great CP, joins previous reviews. Also, sufficient shading at tropical temperatures. WiFi strong enough to watch the tour on the laptop. City not special, but many hiking trails are set in the immediate vicinity.

Our 2nd visit to this CP. Previous reviews outline a good picture of the place and city. However, WiFi at Capitainerie is not possible, Harbor Master does not give the code a price and refers to the McDonalds. He does not want to popped online on his sidewalk. Perhaps, what is the drink / food on his terrace the key to Pandora's box?

Sunday, July 2nd. Explained to this CP because Pont-a-Mousson was complet. Center nice with shops and bakery. Local party 'fete de escargot' and fireworks as a stop, nice to meet with.

Lovely village with bakery and restaurants within walking distance. CP also has a cassette toilette sink. Adequate shaded spots in hot days (like now 33 °). Nice water and free.

Even een korte stop gemaakt voor een foto. Escharen is een dorp met een café vlakbij Grave (2km) Je staat aan de voet van een kerk met misschien overlast van het slaan van het uur door de kerkklok. Goede uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen en fietstochten langs de Maas of richting Landgoed Tongelaar

Join the previous reviews, friendly harbourmaster and top amenities, but the A67 is a monster that can not tame late, especially not with wind from NE direction. Upon due south will not be so bad.

CP is open now with wifi. Wachtendonk is a beautiful town with plenty of hospitality.

For us, this 'free standing' CP after the German thoroughness again a nice change. Behind a large brick building is a black manhole cover for discharging the portapotti. Was a handwritten sign in when we were there. At the Intermarche on the road is a zelfbakkende pizza vending machine for emergencies, veul and greasy.

The previous comments do justice to this beautiful cp with its amenities. Commercy itself is nice, but the hospitality industry is doing jaded and measly in. On a terrace we got Nescafe cappuccino for € 3.20 per head, grmpff.

CP with spacious areas and a fantastic view. Within walking distance of the town. However, some "guests" in all vehicles coming chill or flirting.

Parking at sports hall with gravel and grass at the edge. Cluttered bbq place. The village has a schnitzel restaurant and an Edeka supermarket. Lots of walking and cycling opportunities.
