Hello everyone, The city of Braunfels has closed the parking lot. No more services (electricity, water). It's a regular paid parking lot, with the option to overnight in a camper.

Yes, the place is really beautifully situated. But WARNING... it's probably not safe. Our RV was broken into using a screwdriver trick. They were inside at 5:30 a.m., even though we were asleep in the vehicle. I was able to scare them away with loud yelling and a club!! The police also know this place as a dangerous place. Conclusion: Beautifully situated, but unsafe. So, make sure you secure your vehicle properly.

The pitch has always cost €10.00. Why the app shows €5.00 is a mystery. Campercontact definitely needs to improve this, like they do with many other pitches!!!

So, currently (June 23, 2025) the cost is 170 SEK (approx. €15). The pizzeria is closed, and there used to be live music. Okay for a stopover.

The current price for the pitch as of June 17, 2025: 200 SEK with electricity, 180 SEK without.
