A beautiful and peaceful campsite at Camping-Car Park. Some people don't seem to fully grasp the CCP concept. They're intended for campervans, or motorhomes/camper vans, and they already have their own shower and toilet. Therefore, most CCP campsites only have a toilet station. There's one here in Auberive, and it works perfectly. There's also a sanitary building with toilets and showers, which is now open in September, so that's a bonus!

Attracted by the enthusiastic initial review, we came here. A good decision, because it really is a wonderful place. Beautiful, large pitches with trees, providing natural shade, and very friendly owners. A few caveats, however: there's no gray water disposal (but a chemical toilet is available); the number of campervan pitches is quite limited, mostly consisting of cabins and a few tents; and there's music on the terrace.

A lovely, small-scale campsite. Friendly and relaxed owners. Very quiet at night and probably during the day too. We were unlucky; the campsite neighbor came to prune the hedge with a chainsaw, which took about eight hours. But of course, the campsite can't do anything about that. Bring good walking shoes. I didn't see a bike path. The campsite is beautifully green, with apple trees, among other things. There are a few low-hanging branches you can touch, though.

This campsite is rated both 2 and 5 stars, depending on your pitch. It's fine to be near the beach or all the way across the woods, but closer to the road, the noise quickly diminishes. It's estimated that road noise is moderately to severely disruptive on at least half of the pitches. However, you can easily access the beach if you're interested. A friendly welcome at reception.

Still a great camper site in 2025. Prices in 2025: 1st night €14.50, 2nd night €13.50, 3rd night €12.50. Quietly situated. The "voie verte" (greenway) is right outside the door and a must if you have bikes, a beautiful cycle path.

A lovely, quiet spot. Indeed, no amenities at all, but we didn't need them. There was supposed to be a trash can, but the cabin in question was padlocked. No problem taking the trash with us. Don't expect a perfectly mowed lawn, but it'll be perfectly manageable for most campers. I think that actually adds to the "almost wild camping" experience. There should be more places like this!

Regarding the many comments about few toilets and showers: this is not a camping but a camper park. So intended for campers, who usually have their own toilet and shower. The toilets and showers are an extra. Furthermore a beautiful location, cycle path in front and a visit to Saarburg very worthwhile. We did not hear the road or hardly, but if you are standing at the back the traffic will probably be audible.

Nice quiet place. Grass is quite soft. For us with 4x4 no problem, but another camper got stuck and needed some help to get away. Very nice cycle path along the Ourthe between Bomal and Durbuy.

Beautiful and quiet area. Friendly owner gave us the choice between the lawn opposite the house or the yard behind the house. No animal stench. A sulphurous smell in the evening and the next morning. Presumably from the Cristal Union factory, a sugar refinery that also produces bio-ethanol. It is located in Villette-sur-Aube, approximately 4 km away, in a NE direction. So pay attention to the wind direction.

Nice small-scale campsite. Sites are fine, enough space for a large camper, awning and other belongings. Nice cycle route around Lake Amnecy, mostly on a separate and flat cycle path. Tip: cycle the route clockwise, there is a small, quite steep part of the route that you cycle down instead of up. A visit to the town of Annecy is also very worthwhile. Although quite touristy, it is special to see

Great place. Quite a large lawn, which we almost had to ourselves. If you use electricity, a voluntary contribution of €5 is requested, but apart from that you are happy to pay a contribution to be able to stand here. In fact, all facilities are available, although it is fairly basic. You can cycle in the area, but there are some slopes, making it more suitable for electric bicycles or experienced cyclists.

On April 5, 2024, still no power and parking meter out of use. This means you can stand for free. Surprisingly quiet at night. There seems to be a lot of demand for this place: we were lucky with the last free spot, but then we saw a lot of campers who had to turn around because there was no more room. Perhaps it had to do with the fact that the campsite opposite was still closed and would open again the next day, April 6, 2024.

Close to center. It's a pity that there are fewer power points than places, so power is not available to everyone. Sites are also not very large, a maximum of 8m long. In principle, both cars and campers can park there, but when we were there there were almost only campers.

Great place to spend the night. Yes, you are under a bridge but that is a local road, not a highway. Heard virtually no traffic at night, slept well. Close to the center of Wertheim. The advantage of the bridge is that you are dry and have shade when the sun shines. There is a height restriction, about 3.50 meters from my memory. We were able to stand there with a height of 3.10, but really large campers may not be able to get under it.
