This fantastic place is a hidden gem! Peaceful, atmospheric, and decorated like a beach bar. Plenty to see and do in the area, but a few days of relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet is also a great option! Spacious pitches and all amenities are available. The owners are incredibly friendly. The story of how they built this campsite from a vacant, overgrown farm with their own hands over 20 years makes it even more worthwhile!

Good quiet and free place to stay overnight by the river on the edge of the village. Behind/next to the camper place is a lawn with benches/tables. Free water and electricity. You can not discharge water or toilet. The (once a sanitary?) building can no longer be used. In front of the camper place is another large parking lot where, when we were here, there were also 2 campers and a truck.

I agree with the previous reviews: nice green location, great places separated by hedges, enough shops in the village within walking distance, starting point of walking and cycling routes in the beautiful surroundings. Only the electricity and water column did not work. You can discharge water and toilet. Hopefully the column will be repaired soon because otherwise it is great and also free.

Fantastic place on the Loire. Former municipal campsite and it's still the same as in the 1980s: find your own spot, no numbers and in the evening someone from the municipality comes to collect the pitch (€7.00), to be paid by card. Cycle path to Saumur and surroundings runs along the campsite, bread and restaurant next to the campsite. Very pleasant atmosphere, wonderfully quiet and green, we will definitely come back! 4 ⭐️ due to no shower and electricity, otherwise 5!

Nice free spot at Monet's gardens, on the edge of agricultural fields and trees. Free view at the edge. No facilities, but you don't need them with a camper. It gets wonderfully quiet at the end of the afternoon. Good tip from a fellow camper to reserve tickets for Monet's gardens in advance and then take the 'group' entrance and 'individual with pass', that saves a lot of time standing in line. It is very busy in the gardens.

Nice camper place with spacious green places. Bread and pizza service fine. You can use the facilities of the adjacent campsite. Clean and modern sanitary facilities. No problems with traffic noise. Really recommended to stay here to visit Amiens. Nice cycle path along the Somme from the camper place to the city centre

Nice neat camping, friendly reception, large places with a choice of sun or shade. Clean toilets, with toilet seat cleaning. Bread service, food truck with pizza or burgers. Within walking distance of the cozy village with an interesting walking route to the institution where Vincent van Gogh stayed for a year. This camping is recommended!

Beautiful, quiet place! We were here at the end of April, surrounded by the snow-capped mountain peaks. Nice flat terrain. €15.00 (without electricity), cash payment, money is collected in the evening. Situated on a hiking trail. Restaurant on the chalet campsite across the road. All facilities are available.

This is a construction site and not a camper site!

we wanted to spend the night here, but this camper place is ‘temporarily’ ?? closed. it is a nice place, near a fast flowing river. But unfortunately: you can not spend the night here (now)
Sitecode: 113525
This is not a camping site, or it is closed in December. We tried to stay here overnight on our way through, but it is a dead end road and no sign of activity anywhere. There was a barrier with 'propriété privé' and a box with many mailboxes. This seems to be some kind of 'compound' with 'holiday' homes.

An excellent place to stay overnight while traveling: close to the highway but no noise, it is quiet here, between the trees, good facilities and it is safe. It is a Pass’Étapes camper place and they are always well maintained! Buy a pass once and you can stay overnight at all places of this chain by topping up your account with the required amount per night. Recommended!

A nice place on our way through. We were looking forward to a nice shower - in a private bathroom - after a long day of travel, but only got a cold shower. Disappointment. We paid €29 for 1 night. The campsite is still almost completely full at this time of year.

This is a beautifully situated Camper place, right on the beach, just walk down the path and you can enjoy the Atlantic Ocean, the waves, the surfers and the sunset. End of October enough space and using blocks to be level is fine. The barrier was open, so free space. Recommended!

Lovely quiet place, very friendly owners, good base for beautiful trips in the area. Steenwijk is a nice town, the area is beautiful for cycling or walking: the Woldberg, the Eese, Kalenberg. We enjoyed!

3 stars for the beautiful location of this camper place. With the parking ticket (€10 per 24 hours) you can also park at the bottom of the village and from there start the walk to the Cirque. Discharging toilet and water and taking water is included in the price.

We spent a very quiet and good night here. Discharging toilet and water and taking water is free. No nuisance or annoying behavior from fellow campers. The camper place was full at the end of the day. In high season it could be busier, but mid-May was fine!
Sitecode: 25556
1 star because this is NOT a Camper place, but a parking lot where you can only park during the day. staying overnight is not allowed.
Sitecode: 57917
Nice quiet campsite, with a kind of lanes with trees. Sanitary indeed somewhat dated, but very clean. Friendly staff, daily delicious fresh bread and there is plenty to do in the area. We stayed 3 days. In the high season it will be very busy, but mid-May it was fantastic here! The toilet should not be emptied on a grate, as a previous user wrote, but in a toilet drain, at the water discharge point

Beautifully located and super well maintained campsite, modern and clean sanitary facilities, friendly manager, fresh bread rolls in the morning and with the mountain taxi from the campsite to Lake Maurici for a nice walk through the beautiful Aigüestortes National Park. Absolutely great!

Well-groomed place with free amenities. Nicely located, quiet, nice view and some nice things to see and do in the area. Top!

In itself a great place near the city and the Dalí museum. We have been here 2 nights because the tickets for the Dalí museum were sold out on the 1st day. So book in advance! Downside: 2 nights of bad sleep due to partying young people on the site, with music and loud talking.

Neat, clean place to discharge water and toilet and fill water. You must use a drain hose to discharge water. You can also wash your motorhome on this site if you wish. Follow Selfjord center from road 134, discharge area is signposted.
Sitecode: 86206
Perfect! Neat and clean, everything in one place at hand: toilet and waterless, filling water, waste bin, shopping center and gas station. And also right next to the road. Highly recommended!

We spent the night here after we arrived in Bodø at 10 p.m. with the Ferry from Moskenes. We were here with several campers. The parking is on the right of the road on road 80. There was some traffic noise but we slept through it well and for 1 night it was fine!

A perfect spot along the tourist road 27. Highly recommended!

Great place, clean and tidy. The best way to pay is via the Easy Park app. When we were there it was not working with the credit card. Idd clicking through with the time until you have '1 day' costs €31.50. Bus 2 (stop Ingemann Torpsvei) to Nidarosdomen, you can pay via the Atb app.

A beautiful place to spend the night on a fast flowing river. it is also the starting point of a nature/culture walk of 3.5 km. There is a dry toilet and you can dispose of your garbage. Lots of mosquitoes but that is normal in this area.
Sitecode: 57140
you can fill and discharge water here for free and also empty the toilet. But connect your own water hose yourself because there is no separate hose for flushing the toilet so it seems that the water hose is also used for that. You cannot dispose of garbage here.
Sitecode: 99582
The parking is indeed at the end of the unpaved access road to the entrance of the Muddus National Park. There is also a possibility to to put your camper down halfway, but that is NOT the Muddus parking lot. Great place with clean toilet and waste container. information boards about the park and start of the beautiful hiking trails. Lots of mosquitoes, but that's part of this area, so bring Deet!
Sitecode: 19528
What a paradise place! You get there via a small piece of unpaved road, watch out for the naturcamp sign. It is completely quiet here, a beautiful spot on the lake, a fire pit at every spot and free ready-cut wood to start a fire with. Dry toilets and a simple kitchen. There is a guest book and you can make a voluntary contribution for the stay. really recommended!!
Sitecode: 86166
Place is fine for an overnight stay in transit. The spots by the trees on the lake (down to the right next to the restaurant) are beautiful, but beware if it has been raining! It is not paved there and we slipped and could hardly get away! Toilets are not fresh and restaurant was closed. Not bothered by traffic because it is a quiet road.

it is not (anymore) allowed to to spend the night here. this is indicated by signs. we still drove to the beach and asked other motor home there. they indicated: do not spend the night here, it is forbidden and the gendarmes come to check. we drove to the Camperplaats in Salin de Giraud, behind the fire station. there are no/hardly any facilities there, but overnight stays are free.
Sitecode: 77713
Beautifully located campsite, at the start of beautiful hiking trails, recommended: to the Bout du Monde. We stayed here for 3 nights and paid €21.00 per night for a camper and 2 people, without electricity. We did not have to pay anything extra for camper parking or the like. Water, showers and discharge are free. Only downside: the WiFi is bad. But that is not possible in a nature reserve. Worth a solid 5 stars in our opinion.

this parking/lake is NOT located near St. François Longchamp, but near the Col du Glandon, about 40 km from St François Longchamp. from St. François Longchamp follow the D927 to Col du Glandon, there D926 to the Lac
Sitecode: 94515
Great, quiet place to stay if you want to walk around here. we cycled from the parking lot to the Cascades du Herisson (about 4 km) and walked the cascades there. very worthwhile. If you come back here in the late afternoon or early evening, you can spend the night here very peacefully. beautifully situated, right on the Lac de Bonlieu. no facilities, but we don't need them for a night either.
Sitecode: 28781
nice quiet campsite, beautifully situated on the river. good base for various activities. friendly manager who also speaks Dutch. really recommended!
