Free campervan site officially for 6 campervans. But there are many more; at least 20 are parked in the adjacent parking lot. When we were there (December 2025), it wasn't a problem. No amenities. Walking distance to the old town (a bit of a climb) and the seafront. An ideal base for visiting Altea. I'm only giving it 3 stars because there are no amenities, despite it being an official campervan site for the city.

Stay away. It's overcrowded with locals and long-term visitors, despite the 72-hour rule. Campervans aren't allowed, but the place is full of tables, chairs, barbecues, bicycles, solar panels, and more. You'll be chased out of the surrounding parking lots at 10 p.m. (which is understandable), but why isn't there strict enforcement at the official campervan site?

Large, partially paved square with parking. No amenities. Under the airport's approach path. Close to the beach and promenade. Right next to an intersection.
Sitecode: 100928
Friendly people. Infrastructure is very outdated. Located near a shopping center and bus stop. Ideal for exploring the town.
Sitecode: 74542
Camper site near the beach, shops, boulevard, and train station. Limited sanitary facilities (1 toilet, 1 shower, 1 sink) in a locked container. Friendly staff, though it depends on who you meet. We were faced with a closed gate and ended up driving in through the paid parking lot. You pay the person in charge when you leave.

Very quiet, beautiful camper place. Paved surface. Grass and flowers everywhere. Electricity if desired. Central area with sale of food and drinks (honesty bar) and bread service. Very friendly welcome. Ideal for walking or cycling. Empty toilet, empty gray water and fill in fresh water. Why not 5 stars? There are no sanitary facilities, which means that small bus campers are excluded, for which one star less. But otherwise nothing to complain about

only 2 stars because very difficult to find, GPS always sends you to the street that is closed, so you have to take a complete detour via the center, but it is very poorly indicated.
Sitecode: 53486
The only official camper place in the area. Space for 7 campers. You can also stand in the street to it. No facilities, only a garbage bin. Right on the water. Open all year. Free. Shops and restaurants within walking distance.
Sitecode: 106211
Free camper place with fresh water and discharge of gray and black water.n. by bike you are in the center in no time. past the army barracks begins a wide walking and cycling dike. very beautiful and at the end you can still cycle or walk through a nature reserve. since the facilities are free, many campers that are NOT here also come here to discharge, which causes some hustle and bustle and noise (queuing with the engine running).
Sitecode: 71499
Ideally located public parking, near the harbour and the centre. It is a paying car park 15€/day for a normal camper. The surface is gravel and fairly even. The only disadvantage: no possibility to discharge neither grey nor black water, and also no fresh water to fill up. It is busy at the weekend.
Sitecode: 108036
Nicely landscaped camper place on gravel. Water and electricity included. Facility to discharge grey water and toilet. By bike or by bus (line 24) you are in the center in no time. The sea/beach within walking distance. Toilet/shower available but only 2. The disadvantage is that the shower and toilet are in 1 compartment, so someone showers and also blocks the toilet, and vice versa. For the rest a great place!
Sitecode: 20334
Beautiful campsite with all amenities. Central area with TV and gas fireplace, and coffee machine. Clean sanitary facilities. Ideal for visiting Bruges on foot, by bike or by bus. Or for beautiful walks in nature. Very good WiFi. Only downside, in case of prolonged rain the surface is muddy (unpaved).
Sitecode: 107503
spacious parking lot without facilities. walking distance to the center. sheltered behind a high wall because it can be very windy here with high waves. on campercontact the old place is still indicated the new place for campers is 50 meters earlier
Sitecode: 56701
very nice camper place. we immediately got a full tour with explanation. sandwiches can be ordered. when refueling or shopping the owner helps with possible discount. nice big places on gravel. there is also a cozy bar with good music
Sitecode: 43226
Large campsite above the hill. Typical terrace campsite, with some climbing. Places are easily accessible. Sanitary facilities are ok. There is a bar. Large shopping centre nearby within walking distance. Ideal for visiting the centre. With bus 4 in 15 minutes.

34€ is expensive for this place by bike a short 5km to the city center of Osnabruck
Sitecode: 28073
large campsite in different levels. friendly owners. beautiful view over the town and the sea. small shop. terrace. food truck. sanitary facilities basic but ok. bread can be ordered. disadvantage: the climb up 😉 but that is healthy.
Sitecode: 95090
clean sanitary facilities but not heated and therefore cold since showers and toilets are not in an enclosed space. We had reserved a place with a sea view, but it overlooked the neighbors' tarpaulin instead of the sea. It's a shame that what could have been a beautiful sight can easily be ruined. luckily you can choose another place, but sea view is limited in number.
Sitecode: 1312
beautiful camper place but without facilities (only gray water discharge). But you can then use everything at the campsite. It is easy to walk to the center, going downhill and climbing back. Nice town with beautiful walking trails along the river. Check-in closed between 12:30 and 2:00 PM

It had rained for days, but Flor the owner arranged a paved spot. Very personal welcome by Flor in shorts (quite winter). Honestly bar, you record and write down. Hot sandwiches and cookies that you order in the evening. Possibility to eat a hot meal. Electricity and water available. Chemical toilet area and care available. The only downside, only 1 toilet/shower. Ideal for walking and cycling.
Sitecode: 8088
Beautiful camper place within walking distance (50 minutes) through forest and park, and cycling distance (15 minutes). Controlling everything via the AanUit app works fine (the machine was out of order). Paved surface, water and electricity available for a fee. Care area and rubbish bins available. In the vicinity of riding school with cafeteria, and Cosmodroom (observatory) with cafeteria. Ideal for a visit to Genk, or to explore nature.

we were here for a weekend out of season, it was calm and plenty of space. The pitches are paved, but very small and short. Sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained, but limited, but I wonder what if the campsite is full? Walking distance to shops, center,... Ideal for visiting Knokke in low season, but would not come here in high season.
Sitecode: 66599
Large clean campsite. Sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. maybe 4 toilets for the men is a bit tight? Same for the women? Breakfast possible. Bread and biscuits can be ordered. There is a swimming pool and a sunbathing area. Each pitch has its own electrical connection and tap. A bicycle is recommended.
Sitecode: 97821
Large campsite right on the lake. Not cheap, and the places with a view of the water are even more expensive. Sufficient sanitary blocks, somewhat outdated but maintained and ok. 2 Restaurants and also a small shop on site. Walking distance to the center. Reservation only at least 2 weeks in advance, but when we were here (without reservation) there was more than enough space. The WiFi sucks, doesn't work at all.

Here we ended up at camping Flodder. friendly people but the campsite is full of tents caravans campers of permanent residents. Most of them in brik&brak. Narrow roads full of mud (it had rained though). For our power connection we had to go down a mountain in full mud. Tavern was closed, partly outdated sanitary facilities too. The way up is very steep.
Sitecode: 77334
spacious camper place within walking distance of the dike and center. right next to Delhaize. Driving inside requires some skill because you have to stand on the white square with the camper or the barrier will not open. Sanitary facilities are limited and accessible via code (keyboard is somewhat worn). Only 1 clean water point near chemical toilet, so ask me how many have already flushed their toilet with that intestine. Other than that, great motorhome
Sitecode: 100705
friendly welcome. sanitary facilities well maintained. wifi not available everywhere and not always working properly. very hilly terrain. 40' on foot to the center, easy to do by bike, safe cycle paths everywhere. dimly lit at night. in and out rather steep downhill. I found the prices rather on the high side. toilet cleaning only via vending machine
Sitecode: 19251
large campsite with spacious pitches. sanitary facilities are clean, slightly outdated and no toilet seats in the toilets. in the morning possibility to buy cakes and baguettes. near the dike through a gate at the back.
Sitecode: 66582
nice large campsite, spacious pitches with sufficient distance. sanitary is ok. quietly situated in the middle of the fields, a bicycle is recommended here. big advantage, there are many trees so there is also enough shade. owner is strict but fair 😉 . each pitch has water and electricity. wifi available but difficult reception in the corners (somewhat normal seems to me). however, there is neither a shop nor a drinks vending machine available
