Great campsite in a quiet area and clean sanitary facilities. In warm weather for us the swimming pool, for the dog swimming in the river Recommended: the takeaway discount with grilled potatoes on Tuesday.

Went to the campsite. The camper pitches are along the sometimes dusty dirt road. The campsite is neat and has everything you need, including a swimming pool. Unfortunately, electricity is expensive and the shower card runs faster than the gas meter at home. Per night with 2 people you quickly come to 33 euros with acsi discount. Hot tubes are also rented out on the camping field, resulting in an hour in someone else's wood smoke.... Lots of ticks in the forest at the moment.

Would like to see more of these great camper spots.... The restaurant was a bit disappointing in our opinion. Sparse portions and long wait due to crowds. Reservations recommended.

If you want to be here during the weekend, make a reservation.!! Lots of cornering to get there. It can be difficult with larger campers. Beautiful surroundings, but basic camper place.

Quiet place next to a plateau park with many birds. You can easily walk your dog off leash. Be careful where you stand when it is wet. You can easily go to the town for groceries, etc. There is a museum, but I did not visit it.

Free electricity and amenities! We were the fifth camper and then the movable fence came first. The area at the bee center was closed.

Nice cycling and walking. Restaurant is fine and new sanitary facilities. However, poor WiFi and between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. intermittent planes flying past from Eindhoven airport.

Not really quiet on weekends. (my experience) Saturday evening music festival until 11.30 pm and in the morning at 5.30 am a hot air balloon came over that opened up the burners considerably. Beautiful cycling routes and surroundings. Costs per night with 2 people come with separate payment for electricity and shower at 24 euros, which I personally found too expensive for this place.

The Tropical swimming pool in Veendam is a must!

Many good walking and cycling opportunities. Nice view of the old Maas. For the price of 30 euros! per night there may be a better and free WiFi facility. Sanitary building was neat and clean, but a little more water pressure in the shower would not be a superfluous luxury.
