Much better than another campsite we stayed at this one was full, we then moved here. Staff really helpful ... our motorhome broke down and we moved into a chalet whilst it was being repaired. Lots of trees for shade. Restaurant quality good, so for the area it is is reasonable. Just over a km walk to Calvi town. The train to Ile Russe stops much closer by. Clean and well maintained.

Flat tarmac. New services at end of car park - free water, grey and black waste. Toilet block halfway down and bins at entrance. Few trains pass and none at night. Easy walk to old town, walks up into hills. Great view of citadel and town.

Lots of space when we stayed. And no coaches. Not services. Some people may like to use chocks to get level. Walk into town to look at old buildings. Good shopping centre too. Quiet at night.

Great large pitches with hedges. In December we had our pick with a sea view. Fast WiFi and hot showers in heated washrooms. Washing machine €5. ACSI rate €19. Shame no discount for a week or more, or we would have stayed longer.

One of the only places open in winter for motorhomes near Dubrovnik. A bit of a steep slope to get up but doable even in our 7.55m motorhome. Facilities are a little basic. Showers only have curtains. But it was very wet when we arrived and the lady was very helpful putting out boards if we did not have something to stand on wheels on. She also told us about good disused road we could cycle along

Handy site for Blagaj and Mostar. Stayed 3 nights. Supermarket 2 mins and a great restaurant opp. 5 mins. Walkable to Dervish House and up to castle. We cycled to Mostar. All facilities clean and hot shower. Peaceful. Easy access for large motorhomes. Walter a great resource with some English. Recommended. We paid €15 for 3 nights as I said €19 too much for November

Wonderful site. Large flat fully serviced pitches. Out of season The winter offer is euros 12 per night for a minimum of three nights. This included electric Wi-Fi and the dog. The restaurant is open but we did not use it. The laundry machines were 35 Khuna each. Staff were friendly and helpful. We cannot recommend this campsite enough

Agree with previous positive comments. A friendly site. Immaculate facilities. We stayed 2 nights so we could see Krka National Park - which we did ourselves driving our motorhome. WiFi fine, just a little slow at times. Really good value and good location.

Cheaper than ACSI price of €17 if you pre book over internet from 01/11. Strong free WiFi. Only one wash block open in winter, but water is plentiful around the site. Free tennis and table tennis.

Tarmac with a slope. Lots of room and free out of season. One point in each electric post seemed to work and free. Quiet at night. Good dog walking and running on tracks starting to right if cemetery.

In November it was only €5 for 24hours and the location is perfect for the museum and winter entrance to the ruins - 2 mins walk. Happy for us to stay overnight. No facilities. We may have been unlucky, but a car arrived, watched us and drove around us 6 times. No one else here. We did not feel safe and left at 2030hrs.

A large carpark on the edge of town. A few passing cars and lots of people running in the morning. Very quiet at night. No services, except bins nearby. Level Tarmac. 10 min walk into the centre of town.

Good sized, marked out and level bays. Easy to find. Mixed showers open to elements with only a shower curtain, and in the morning, only just like warm. Toilets segregated. No hot water at washing up facilities. Motorhome services easy to access. Outside town - 1km to beach at edge of town. Expensive for December- €16 including electric for 1 night

A delightful location next to the huge open Atilla'a Fort (free to walk around) and streams. Services take Euro coins for 50l water. Clean & well maintained. The parking spot bays are a little short, but in April we were 3 motorhomes so we parked sideways and the two others went on the opposite side. Picnic benches 😀 and a stand up toilet (cleaned while we were here). Super quiet - recommended

WC emptying is a small concrete hole with no method of flushing the waste down. The tap by this does not work. There is another tap by the lorry diesel pumps but there is not a hose attachment and more water ended up on the ground. Grey waste into a drain. However, with so few motorhome services open in November, we are pleased to have emptied the toilet.

Flat, tarmac and free. Train noise is short and infrequent and not through the night. Very handy for the historic town. Lots of really good walks in the area. Public toilet with taps; not sure if it is drinking water. Two night stay.

A new camperstop. Flat hard stone ground. Services and benches. Electric included for €12. About 1.9km to walk or cycle to the monastery / cafe. Quiet other than the farmer worked late to get in the harvest.

Excellent FREE aire and parking along side the river. Pleasant walk along the river and over the bridge to town. A little road noise but otherwise very peaceful.

Excellent. Busy, but mostly with people staying a couple of nights. Lovely 'ordinary' town, pretty with the boats and looking across to Spain. Good walks from here, including the Algarve Way. Tuesday is fresh fish delivery day, so busy restaurants with locals. Prices really good too. Stayed 2 nights.

A very large site with many permanent pitches. Wash rooms a little dated but clean. Most pitches feel crowded due to the irregular layout and number of them. Good dog walking area outside the site to the right of the gate. Staff friendly. Can BBQ with charcoal. Fine, but would not stay again.

Super quiet and secure with new fencing and gates. Tables and BBQs in the park behind. Roads are fine for larger vans. All services except electric and very clean.

Quiet at night, however a large building going up next door so the noise starts quite early. Chocs needed for levelling. 15 vans one night but only 4 the next. Large bins but not spotted any recycling nearby. WC emptying and water are under flaps in the pavement. Segovia definitely worth a visit.

Free to park/stay but no other motorhomes here in November. Services out of order. Better spot down by the port / Parc Ornithologic.

A very large carpark - in April it was virtually empty, so we parked right next to the river. There were 3 gypsy motorhomes permanently hooked up to the electric point on the services. As there were other motorhomes there too, we felt safe enough to walk (>3km) into town and stay the night. Really peaceful.

An efficient site: large marked pitches, all services (incl €5 for washing machine) and really clean services and toilet/shower. 50m from funicular to old town. 750m from supermarket. Staff spoke English and gave me local information and could sell the Orvieto Card if you want to do all the tourist attractions. Train noise a minor disturbance only. Popular site so try to book in season.

Superb free overnight parking. Services, electric, picnic benches and an amazing view. All very new and well maintained - grass cut whilst we were here. Short walk to the walled town perched on cliffs. Only negative is that there is no gap in the grating for black waste. Thank you to the town.

Free and over looking the lake. Short walk to the town and next door to a restaurant. However the parking bays are short so we parked lengthways - you may not be able to do this in the summer. Fairly quiet once the restaurant shut, just a barking dog a few times.

The staff in the ticket office said fine to stay one night but do not discharge onto the grass. There is high level lighting and it felt very safe and quiet at night. During the day there are a lot of dog walkers. No pressure to visit the Necropolis, although they are with it.

Clean services at the back. You have to go over the flyover (over railway) to get to the palace and park. We cycled and the bike entrance is along the park and not essay to find. Site extremely quiet and safe. Given a key to the gate for nighttime access. Price includes electric - €15.

ACSI. Stayed in October 2015 and February 2016. Staff lovely and speak English. For a close to city campsite, pitches a reasonable size. Lots of shade for summer. Very close to ruins, trains to Naples and large supermarket. Recommended.

Flat but grass / dirt. Water had to be switched on by the attendant. No other services. Supermarket 5 mins. Easy walk to town centre. Don't park under the betting shop ... It is noisy most of the night.

Feels like a car park ... It is! But it is safe. A 10 min walk to the bus stop to the centre of Palermo. Fairly quiet in Dec 2015 - only 2 other vans occupied as most in storage. Don't remember electric being available but all other services. Don't try to arrive in rush hour as Palermo traffic is horrendous.

Winter rate is €12 incl electricity. Showers are not good - you buy a token strip but are open to the sky and hot water does not last long. Better to shower in the van. Best pitches are ... Reception turn left and find one with a water stand pipe ... No need to move the van as often. Free wifi by reception. Beautiful area. Free tennis courts and path to town.

Flat and Tarmac. A few gypsy caravans - permanent. We parked the other side to them. As we arrived a man told us he would keep an eye on our MH for -€10; paid him €5 as wondered if he was one of the gypsys but never saw him again! Some noise from fishing boats at 5.00 am

All services and not expensive. Staff brilliantly helpful and kind - the owner gave us a lift to Ragussa and some tomatoes. Showers over a toilet in a small cubicle 😳

Great for town. Stayed 3 nights for events in town. On a slope. Burger van easily avoided - don't park next to it! The market used to be here, but has moved to another location.

Facilities. Quiet. Other (some permanent) campers. But felt really safe. Excellent free stop. No electric.

Free car park with Tarmac. Flat. Entry is over raised Tarmac tree root - take slowly. Services are just inside on right. It is really full by 9.00 - we waited 2.5 hrs to get space for our 8m camper - parked up at 1.30. Quiet at night. Walked to Villa d'Este and Villa Gregorino. Market is Wednesday and we were told it uses the whole parking.

Station car park and lots of space. However we were charged by the hour so our over night stay cost €17.20😟. Payment machine in the station. Very quiet and felt safe. A short walk up to the belvedere and town.

It has services although black waste has to go through a grate. There are two permanent lived in motorhomes. Buses come through the car park every 30 mins or so. Mostly quiet at night, but when we woke in the morning, someone had put a load of dirty tissues on the windscreen 😳. 2.5 km walk to Castel Gandolfo mostly along a new footpath. Supermarket 2 mins down the road.

Yes amazing views & pretty town with a castle - opens min 4 times daily. Parking huge, but much is sloping. Silent at night except for a barking dog! More advice - we came up the SP24 from the south. As soon as you go through the hamlet San Michele, there is a signposted (Sermoneta) and sharp (3 point turn) right hand turn. This is bus route and the road is good with one wide hair pin bend.

Quiet at night but an Italian told us there would be 100 Italians there at the weekend. Again we were told that you only have to pay at the weekend if you are in the correct bays - the parking fees may apply in the summer though. A 10 min walk up to the Duomo and old town. Lots of shops and restaurants.

At the Piano della Orme museum - one of the best museums we've ever visited - allow min 5 hours. There is a designated Camper parking on the left under trees. The services are down the end of the track. Lots of rain when we visited but ground still firm. Allowed one night free and no pressure to visit the museum ... But it was worth it. Very quiet at night.

A 950m walk downhill to the town. Our GPS brought us up a narrow and tight turn road ... Make sure you use the SS149, signposted for the Abbey.

Convenient as right by the Monastery. €8 to park for 1 minute or you can stay the night - we did not overnight here as a storm was forecast so we preferred to be down the mountain. Level Tarmac. No services, except bins.

Flat, along the beach front no services available in February. Quite busy in February as 8-9 vans each night. Very quiet. Stayed two nights.

This was the only sosta near Gallipoli that we could find open in February. They answered the phone and came and opened up for us. Gated compound so very safe and quiet. The toilet block was shut so used the facilities in the van. Expensive out of season at €20. A 5km cycle ride along a back road to Gallipoli, but the owner also operates a taxi service.

You need a 6m hose to reach into the car park - very good fresh water as lots of locals filling up containers here. Signposted as you approach the town- this is where campers are supposed to go. It is a bit of a slope but the main car park nearer the town is more sloping. However, it was very quiet at night. Right next to the stadium so could be noisy and busy if a game is playing.

Seems to be only place you can park near the town with a camper - even in winter there are parking restrictions and police about. However, motorhome services are excellent and it is signposted around the town. Some pitches are a little on a slope. Quiet at night and felt safe.

Best access is along the port front, approach from the south. Quiet at night. Stayed 2 nights. Locations superb for waking Trani. Fish market very close. A man tried to persuade us that he would watch our van for €5 if we moved to another car park ... There is no need to do this.

Easy to get to along the lungomare. No motorhome services, but quite flat. Restaurants and bars nearby, but quiet at night. We stayed 2 nights and caught the bus up to Monte St Angelo. 1km walk to caste.

Free if you eat in the restaurant, which we recommend. Menus are priced at €27, 22, 17 and 13. We had the €22, which included a HUGE number of antipasta dishes, ham & cheese and a plateful of meats + wine, water, liqueurs and coffee. We took a doggy bag back to the motorhome. One of the best meals we've had in 3 months in Italy. Hot shower😀. No electric when we were here in Feb. Quiet at night.

Quiet in January with all services. Limited number of large pitches to choose from, so it may be a problem if you have a large camper in high season. Very hot water but only in showers. A brisk 10 min walk to the town with lots of bars and the archaeological site - very worth doing. Large on site restaurant was open but we did not use it.

Great free location for the town. Some noise at night. Busy but lots of space ~ 14 vans first night and then 6 the second. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby and a decent sized supermarket 2 mins away (turn left to small roundabout).

We did not stay but paid EUR8 just to use the camper services!!!! Small shops nearby. Staff seemed friendly but not walking distance to the valley of the temples. There is a car park here which was only EUR5 for the whole day.

As you arrive you collect a ticket and pay on exit. The ticket entitles you to two adult bus rides into town. The no. 30 seems to run very regularly. Otherwise a 15 min walk into town. Services but no electric. In october, all Italian vans and not sure how many are inhabited or long stay parked. Feels safe.

Only looking to stay for a few hours and no option other than €5 for 24 hours. In October there was plenty of free parking elsewhere. For an overnight, it had full motorhome services and looked safe. Only a few mins walk to the town.

Pluses: Fenced & gated. New & clean. Picnic seating area. Recycling bins and kids play area. Instructions on buying a Koper card in English: this gives you access to all the service facilities and 2 free bus rides (presume you have to top up for return trip). Easy walking to huge shopping centre with choice of supermarkets. Negatives: At back of bus station and right next the motorway so noisy.

All amenities are a bit old. Quiet at night, football training until 10:30 on Thursday, next door. Numerous walks in the neighborhood. Excellent.

Also came for one night but stayed for two! Our host was extremely informative and enthusiastic about what to do in Idrija and there is more than you think; he would have given us a tour but had a another commitment. Parkings are level and with electricity. Wifi worked well. Excellent stop.

Showers 80c for 30 litres of water but if you need to wash and condition, you will need two tokens. All immaculate. The bar will take orders for the bakery for the morning. FREE if you eat in the restaurant - menu at EUR8.50: tasty. & filling. Sells card for bus to city. Highly recommended. Host v helpful.
