A large, well-maintained campsite with very friendly staff. We're not usually fans of large campsites, but the location in a beautiful bay (or fjord, if you will) more than makes up for it. The pitches are close together, nestled among regular guests who have extended their caravans with porches instead of awnings. The sanitary facilities are very clean and well-stocked (unlike many other Norwegian campsites). However, we did find the loud radio in the sanitary building disturbing.

This is, in a word, a fantastic campsite. Beautifully situated between mountains and a fast-flowing river. Plenty of space (the owner decided, after 17 pitches were taken, to protect the environment, not to accept new guests). Sloping terrain with plenty of nearly flat areas. Very clean, well-maintained sanitary facilities (three large bathrooms, and a separate toilet will be added this summer). Upon arrival, you'll find a pitch and register via text message for payment.

Great, large city campsite on the lake. A pleasant walk to the city center (the café in the park is highly recommended), about 20 minutes. When booking online, you can choose your pitch on a map. Sufficient and clean restrooms. We paid NOK 513 (2 people, small camper) when we booked that afternoon for the same night (booking earlier is cheaper).

This campsite's location is ideal for visiting Røros (a 25-minute walk), but that's about all the advantages. The sanitary facilities are old and not cleaned properly or often enough. During our stay, the trash bins were constantly overflowing. The pitches are OK, behind reception with a nice view. Tip: take the railway tunnel and footbridge to Røros at the back of the campsite.

Campsite with beautiful, new, spacious, and clean sanitary facilities. The entire campsite is spotless, by the way. But it's also a bit dull, with campers mostly lined up next to each other. There's a panoramic view of the valley (especially from the front row), but it's also incredibly windy at the moment. Our laundry wouldn't stay on the line. One fixed price, whether you use electricity or not. A washing machine and dryer are also included.

Great campsite, especially for the incredibly popular spot at the end of the Geirangerfjord. You look straight out into the fjord from the campsite and can walk straight into the water. The campsite itself isn't particularly special, just straight lanes where everyone stands side by side. Clearly marked pitches. Waterfront pitches cost an additional NOK 100. Sanitary facilities are neat and clean. Restaurants and a supermarket are within walking distance. Lovely walks are available from the campsite.

Beautifully situated, small campsite. From the flat terraces, you have a true view of the lake from every pitch. Yes, the campsite is right on the E39, so you occasionally hear a car passing by at night. We didn't find this bothersome at all (especially not for a campsite where you know in advance that it's located along the road). It was very quiet when we were there, with a maximum of 15 pitches occupied. The sanitary facilities are basic but clean. Great spot!

Don't hesitate, this is a fantastic campsite! The pitches on the western side are beautiful. Many are situated on a private terrace/plateau and have their own picnic table. Fantastic views of the fjord. The restrooms were always spotless. Well worth the detour.

This campsite itself is beautifully situated on the lake, but the pitches are quite cramped and not all equally attractive. Upon arrival, we were only allowed to choose from a row of pitches along the river, which was quite crowded and swampy. There were also available pitches elsewhere on the campsite, so I have no idea why we weren't allowed there. The sanitary facilities are new and clean. There were queues at the usual times, but that's been the case everywhere so far.

Busy, busy, busy. We arrived at half past eleven in the afternoon and the campsite was already full (according to the manager, there was no point in waiting until the official check-out time, everything was full).

A very nice campsite. We stayed there for two nights. Sunday was considerably busier than Monday, but there were still plenty of spaces available at the end of the day. We actually appreciated that the pitches weren't marked. It's right on the lake, and the wind is very strong, so we pitched near the riverbank. The sanitary facilities aren't new and not very plentiful, but they are cleaned regularly. No complaints!

A nice, small campsite. Much smaller than the other two campsites in the village. You choose your own pitch and pay when the owner returns at 4:00 PM. The sanitary facilities were excellent. A supermarket (closed on Sundays) and the stave church were a few minutes' walk away. When we were there, you couldn't buy bread rolls at the campsite (in July, on a Sunday), so we were referred to another campsite.

Great campsite! Spacious, even when it gets busy towards the end of the day, and something for everyone (gravel, grass). We were there in mid-July and there was plenty of room. We also never had to queue for showers or toilets, and everything was clean enough. The walk to the starting point for Preikestolen is indeed about an hour, but you can only walk along the road, which isn't very pleasant.

A riverside campsite with an idyllic, murmuring sound all day long. Nice, clean restrooms, large bathrooms instead of separate toilets and showers. Showers are nice, but not very efficient. However, despite the campsite being full, we didn't have to wait once. Campervan sites are straightforward, with about 3 to 4 meters between them. You can choose your spot as long as there's space. People could still choose a spot until early evening.
