nice quiet campsite near the centre of beautiful Dokkum sanitary facilities in good order

camping the places are nice but the shower heads should be replaced spray in all directions except the good one and indeed lukewarm water. free wifi yes in the cottages but at the camping no reception at all the area there is nothing to do there nice to be there for a visit to Schiermonnikoog (which is very expensive e.g. 1 wine and a beer on the terrace €16) we moved to Dokkum a world of difference.

it has nothing to do with a camping drove up with the camper on a bad road and must say that the view is beautiful but if I had known about the place where they call it a camping then I wouldn't have even bothered it is a nice questhouse but to mention camping there is a bit far-fetched

We were at this campsite on September 13, 2023 and thought it was a great stay so close to the sea the washrooms are indeed old but are cleaned and everything works, lovely hot shower

Great campsite neat and friendly staff. And yes indeed traffic noise but good to do. From the campsite to Valencia on the bike beautiful bike paths. What I do not understand is so much negative bullshit about this campsite. Do come because it is nice and cheap and then complain afterwards. Then immediately go to a more expensive campsite then it is indeed better and newer

€ 10 incl flow beautiful sanitary. Close to the cozy center. Also many bicycle options via junctions. And from the camper to see a lot like pleasure boating. Money is collected by the harbor master.

October 2017. One place only had French who camped there for weeks. In the morning you see them walking with buckets and watering cans to empty the waste water tank with bucket and watering can to fill water tank. Normally at the sani pool outside, but then they have to leave the grounds and they are afraid to lose their place. Because there are regular campers who can not.

Quiet place under the old beech. At an old health resort from 1780 with healing water sources. Shop close by with miscellaneous, where nice woman who gets you kindly stand up and enjoy the area we stayed 1 night.
