Great campsite, and yes, you can hear the highway, but we don't find it bothersome! The "portable sanitary building" is very small for the number of pitches used, for the ladies: 2 ladies' toilets, 1 shower, and 1 sink. Understand that this can be a problem during busy periods!

Top campsite for families with (small) children, nice big swimming pool, sanitary facilities ladies fine, at the men quite a smell at urinals, stayed 2 nights with camper van. Larochette is nothing, faded glory, 2 large hotels dilapidated and for sale. We did not visit the castle/ruin. Walking steep path easy down 700 m to Larochette, but also back up is quite a climb!

Messy campsite, swimming pool still closed (in June), sanitary facilities very old and not really clean, as far as we are concerned this campsite is unfortunately not recommended for a longer stay! For 1 night is still doable.

Nice campsite, entrance campsite/reception looks very cozy and inviting with lots of flowers, Dutch speaking lady at reception also nice, sanitary facilities were neat. Swimming pool lovely and was still partly renovated/expanded. With the shuttle bus from the campsite to the sanctuary in Lourdes is nice, on foot is also fine, however the last part is a steep climb! The sanctuary so impressive, you have to experience it once!

Great friendly campsite! Many Dutch people in transit, lovely swimming pool with good maintenance, restaurant fine, sanitary facilities well cleaned. Will definitely come back here!

Beautiful campsite, good and clean sanitary building, the swimming pool large and TOP!! It was June so still very quiet, indoor and outdoor pool water clean and lovely temperature.

Swimming pool great and nice and clean! Places also a lot of shade, close to the lake nice swimming. Sanitary outdated, but clean, no restaurant / shop on the campsite, but close to pizzeria with top pizzas !!

It was already 18 years ago that we stayed here at L’Escale. Then in a chalet, now with our camper on the campsite. The sanitary building (2 units) looked fine, nice shower room and toilet with toilet paper also fine, cleaned 1 to 2 times a day. A downside is the swimming pool! Indoor and outdoor pool are no longer connected, causing stagnant water, filter does not work properly, outdoor tiles get too hot from the sun!!

A great campsite!! We were with our campervan next to the swimming pool and sanitary building. We were here mid-June, so not that busy yet, had the swimming paradise to ourselves! Sanitary building renovated, very nice and is cleaned regularly. I can't really find a negative point. We will definitely come back here again!
