Hey, what a rest here in Belgium. No hassle with APV rules from municipalities such as in the Netherlands, which rules are put forward by organizations that are for the campsite owners and try to make it as unfriendly as possible for the free camper. That is why you see all free camper spots disappearing more and more in the Netherlands. Kudos to the Municipalities in Belgium that are not influenced by this kind of organization.

Ended up here by chance , I give 3 stars because it is not clear where the campers are allowed? Police came by so we could ask. It belongs to the municipality and is tolerated a lot! Preferably in the slightly larger parking spaces (but certainly no 11-meter camper will fit on that) During the week it is also allowed everywhere across 2/3 / 4 parking spaces at the weekend, they can strictly enforce?! The abbey and surroundings are beautiful 🍻
