This campsite knows how to make excellent use of the commercial opportunities. You are lined up in groups of three; price camper with 2 people € 30.50; extra: shower tokens € 1.50 each; ACSI member: ok, you get 2 shower tokens for free. But perhaps the most annoying thing is the gentleman/madam at the toilet block who keeps looking at you and greeting you when you have to pass the sign with a few coins for encouragement.
lees meerIf you follow the campsite signs you will be fine (the tunnel is up to 2.10 high, otherwise drive on for a while (the campsite is still signposted, but together with the camper park that you have to pass). A warm welcome, fast handling, great spot (2nd row) Beautiful walk along the Rhine to Bingen, nice restaurants on the water such as Vinothek and simple, good German food & super cheesecake at the campsite. One star less for air traffic in the morning.
lees meerA great campsite. We were assigned a large seat. The manager determines how the camper should be placed. This guy is a bit grumpy. No problem for us. We had a nice view. The sanitary facilities are very good. The accompanying restaurant was busy.
