Yes, you pay €18, inc. tourist tax. That is indeed a lot for a place with few facilities. But the money benefits the city, and you can actually see it as a kind of entrance to this beautiful world heritage city. A museum also charges an entrance fee. And this city is actually a museum.
Totally overpriced parking space in a parking lot. 18 € for 24 hours parking without any supply or disposal. The supply and disposal station is locked and cannot be used. The resulting Corona Drive-In is probably more profitable. No electricity either. Sad dear city of Quedlinburg!
