Stood here on 30.9. Nice parking lot with shade trees. Noisy because local access road goes around the square. Pretty dark at night. Some public traffic, but tolerable. Ticket office and toilet closed. Bus parking lot full in the morning, so it's better to stay overnight in the car area. Police checked but didn't say anything.

Ideal place to visit the Certosa. Suitable for overnight stay. We ate at the Trattoria Degli Olivi good and reasonably priced.
