We have been to this campsite in mid-September and are not enthusiastic. I thought it looked messy and dingy. There were small pieces of glass on the path to the private beach and the private beach itself did not smell fresh (pit air). Sanitary is dated (not bad), but especially not clean. Cleaner went to mop the showers with black water. Positive: spot overlooking lake. Overall: I especially wanted to get out of there.

Personally, I think it's a lovely campsite with a beautiful spot with a view over Lake Orta. With a van from the camping you can be taken to Orta for 3,- pp. The staff is very nice and helpful, Matteo the receptionist speaks 4 languages and is very nice. Dated campsite that's right, but the location and the private beach make up for it.
