on the village square of Relva, drinking water tap, clean toilets (with toilet paper), free WiFi, bar/restaurant, bread in the shop, and old men selling oranges, eggs and nuts. We were there on Sunday but didn't see a market. And a beautiful walking route via the west side to the beautiful Portuguese Monsanto. In early March we were the only ones, and the locals don't sit outside until midnight. quiet at night. recommended. no dumping ground.

Monday/sunny. A really great spot. A nice square with plenty of life. Chatting elderly people, a cafe (with very reasonable prices) and from the middle of the square you can go up to the left to the higher village with castle ruins. A beautiful village. Of all the built-up free spots, this is a very nice one.
