Well, it is indeed a car park, but with free, clean toilets and a nice visitor center Vattenriket where you get good information about the area. WiFi is also free and Lidl within walking distance. So fine.

Great place. You can walk straight into the center via the bridge and the park in a few minutes. Nice restaurants and shops in the center. Close to a supermarket and fast food takeout. Good base for visiting the city. The parking lot is brightly lit at night.
